Hi. As there are more people using the UK site (and more owners), I thought I would post this quiery here. I have tried the dealership, but aftr 2 weeks, still waiting an answer. Has anybody else noticed that when you get in the car and get the accessories on (not trying to start the car), if the drivers door is open, you get this annoying donging sound! Does anybody know how to stop it, besides closing the door or pushing the door button in? The other annoying sound is when you don't have your seatbelt on (or disconnect) at speeds over 20Ks. It's ok seeing the warning light come on (as in the IS200) but these warning sounds are sooooo annoying. :duh:

Hi Gary Mine is Silver. Has grey interior with SatNav and ML sound (of course). Didn't have to wait, after Christmas holiday when I was ready to buy, they had it in the showroom and ready to sell. RAP03 is the rego plates when you see me. I have only seen one other on the road and that was late last year. Where are they all? Also, found out before how to enter the voice dial for the phone. When you edit the stored person's details, there is a second page which has the voice dial setup for the person. Yes, there seems to be more aussies using the UK site then the Aust site. Must be because we lost the ashes and world cup and want to use up there resources. :P

Simply put Tyrrp and totally correct. The Australian options have the Prestege (Base model) and the Sports Luxury with 17inch wheels and 55 profile tyres. The Sports only comes with 18 inch and 45 profile tyres. Hence, no difference in actual distance covered for one rotation of the wheels. There has been discussions at the dealers to offer the 18inch wheels as an after delivery optional extra, but then they/you would be stuck with the 17inch wheels. The factory are telling the Australian dealers that they can't offer them as a pre-build option and hence lesser price. Maybe you guys over in the UK can get a better deal as the dealers would be buying more than the Australian dealers. Ha55anx. In Australia, they do offer the Sports with either Manual or Auto gearbox. So try again for the auto if you want it. Again, the Prestege comes in both Manual and Auto, the Sports in both and the Sports Luxury only with Auto. The SL has the adaptive cruise and hence will only be on the Auto. IS250 Sports lover. :D

Hi Col and Jamboo (and others). Yes, the settings for the Phone and Sat Nav are both easly adjusted. For the phone, push the Info button, then select Phone and then select Settings (under Phone), there is a volume setting there for speaker and mic (basically. For the Sat Nav, push the Menu button and the Volume is an option on that screen. Only one problem with my SatNav system, I get this pommy sheila's voice. :P :P :P
