  1. Those pedals were sport and not SE along with similar door sills on sport but plastic on SE.

Tinted rear screen and rear side windows (with sport emblem I think) on sport but not SE.

Sport did have a boot spoiler but don't think it was a raised one like that in 2001.

Sport mesh grille was an extra even on the sport model ...

Steering wheel - think it's probably sport as on my 2001 SE it's plain black.

Obviously some people go to extreme lengths to pretend their SE is a sport :shifty:

    Best of luck ...

  2. The bit you have there just reaches through from the boot into the cabin above the rear seat arm rest.

I guess they all have that - handy for moving lengthy stuff about .. eg skis, fence post perhaps, side skirts maybe ...

The ski bag accessory zipped onto that extending the waterproof bag about a metre to between the front seats.

  3. I used mine a few times for skis etc ...

The item you have for sale is just the standard bit by the look of it.

There was a 'bag bit' available to connect to the car side of this to make it ideal for such use.

For a minute I thought it might be one of those you had listed ... Oh well never mind

  4. I really liked my CRX and kept it nice ...

Mk2 version - the nice curvy one with 1.6i 16v engine.

ED9 model, D16A9 engine for those that know :shifty: , not the vtec.

Vicki Butler-Henderson popped round with a photographer when she worked at Max Power.

It then appeared in the 'readers cars' section of the mag.

Ages ago I know as I've just dug it out to check - Oct '93 issue.

It's a difficult choice as to which was my favourite, the CRX or the IS200 ...

Tried an MR2 turbo (SW20 model) after the CRX.

Bought from a Japanese import company in Ireland.

Flew there, drove it back and did a personal import.

Think I definitely have a preference for Japanese cars B)

  5. The workshop manual says 50 N.m ( 500 kgf.cm , 36 ft.lbf )

It says tighten the 14 bolts in several passes starting with the middle pair in following sequence ..

    <<< Front of engine

    12 , 8 , 4 , 2 , 5 , 9 , 13

    14 , 10 , 6 , 1 , 3 , 7 , 11

Then tighten them a further 90 degrees

    Hope that helps ..

  6. I started using Shell V-power years ago during visits to Germany.

Filled up with it on way home just before crossing border into Holland.

That was enough to get me home + a bit more.

It wasn't available over here then so used Shell Optimax instead.

Noticed the difference that car didn't feel as happy running on that.

So was pleased when V-Power finally got here and have used it ever since.

  7. If you have a look here you can find the entire wiring diagram for the car.

    www.bahamutcars.com/workshop/IS_98-05/index.html

Select 'Electrical Wiring Diagram' on the left hand side.

    Then below that ...

    OVERALL ELECTRICAL WIRING DIAGRAM

contains instructions of how to read diagrams, colour codes etc.

OVERALL ELECTRICAL WIRING DIAGRAM [RHD] / [LHD] as appropriate.

    Then below that ...

'Radio and Player' has the audio system diagrams listed by date of car build.

Hope that helps. Best of luck ..

  8. I care

I'm also disappointed that the 'new posts' isn't there now. That was much better than this new thing.

I'm sure Steve will be (or is already) working on getting it back so we can be happy again

'Latest posts' just shows all the same ones but you just have to check the icon to the left of each topic to see if you've already looked at it.

If it's a pale colour then it's been read but if it's dark then it's new or been updated.

The "mark board as read" link at the bottom just turns them all pale.

That way when you next use the 'latest posts' link you can see which are new / updated because they'll now have the darker icon on the left.

Probably no help but worth a try

    Seems like nobody cares :(

This afternoon I cleared my cookies for this site, logged into a new browser ( Firefox ) and clicked on latest posts. It gives the last 24 hours, which iy you log in once a day at the same time - however if you login multiple times unless you remember the time you logged in it's absolutely no use :(

Also the link at the bottom to "mark board as read" seems to do absolutely nothing.

Came across this one day, can you see the similarity?

  9. It's often stamped on the inside of the wheel - as is the size ...

On the back of a spoke perhaps ...

For example the standard 17" 5 spoke alloys ...

size 7J x 17 stamped on the back of one spoke

and offset 50 or 45 stamped on the back of an adjacent spoke.

    TG

the other thing is I dont know what the offset of the alloys are! (Kahn RS-S 18x8) is there any way of me finding this out. Ive tried searching internet to find this out but can't find anything.....

    Cheers for the replys.
