  1. I've been looking to replace the brake discs on my IS200 which are getting a bit tatty.

One option was DBA discs which I know were done as a group buy here some time ago.

Lucky timing then. Digging around UK distributors website found offers on the 4000 series discs.

    Clark motorsport IS200 offers

So ordered myself some fronts @ £144.00 and rears @ £120.00 delivery included.

Similar prices to standard now but still got a bit of my instinct left for buying different parts :)

They arrived today so here's pics of what they are :-

Apparently offer is clearing space for new stock and once they're gone they're gone.

Catching your attention ? There's about a dozen front pairs and half dozen rear pairs left.

PS. I'm not trying to sell for the company but did tell them I'd be posting details here about what I got :shifty:

  2. Here's a quote from my IS200 owners manual :-

"The outside rear view mirror heater will operate while the ignition switch is ON".

Mine is a 2001 car and doesn't have the mirror symbol on the heated rear window switch.

That must have been one of the changes made sometime beyond late 2001.

  3. Theres a paint available from B and Q called jap laq. I used hammerite on mine and it just flaked of. I asked around the local cruise scene and everyone recomended jap laq. Its brush on and is very high gloss also isnt affected by heat i have pretty well had my brakes steaming after pratting abotu on my mates farm land didnt even discolour the piant.

Was it really called " jap laq " or is that a typo that should be " jap lac " :lookaround:
