  1. Yeh dude, it does have speed adjustment ranging btw 4,000 and 12,000 OPM. I've only got weak swirls on my car, I was going to use Sonus SFX 2&3, but Sonus also do a 'Swirlbuster' product. What do you reckon is the most appropriate?
  2. Hey guys, decided to remove the swirls on my car & have been doing alot reading on Autopia. Can't really afford a Porter Cable polisher at the mo, so found this random orbit sander which could act as a polisher on Ebay - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HI-SPEC-125mm-RANDOM...VQQcmdZViewItem Although its OPM rate is faster than the Porter Cable, do you guys think it'll do the job? I've seen some with velcro backing plates which are 5"s which will fit on the product. Do you think Sonus 6" pads will fit ok despite the discrepancy? I've seen some other polishers which are standard rotrary. Do you guys think they'll do a good job with sonus pads? Thanks again guys (",)
  3. KEI Racing Kruze are the ones that you want. They have the correct offset and look as good as the ones you mentioned. Click here dude www.potn.co.uk/images/keiracing/keikruzeB.jpg
  4. How much are the closure kits and how easy/hard are they to install..?
  5. Wat types of product are peeps using to clean ure wheels? Stuff like AutoGlym...do these have any profound effect on reducing corrosion or is that just some bullsheet marketing ploy?
  6. Waaagwaaan Peeps. Yeh dudes me bin researching rims bares the past few weeks. Umm...I like the Team Daytona Racing DR505. They kinda look like the traffistar STS's which are hevy! What colours your car dude?
  7. Thanx alot boss. U made me see sense, I am now allowing the bling factor and going more for practicality. 18 inches it is then with a 30mm drop. Has n e body got any suggestions for a decent tyre size on 18x7 on a 40 offset. P.S Many thanx again Gord.
  8. Ah man your making me feel bad now Gord. I'll probably end up going for the 18"ers after scaring me! You tink that a 225/40/18 will be good enuf on this rim (18x7 offset 40 again) without absolutely no rubbing problems? P.S I'm proper wounded, I really wanted 19s
  9. Thanx dude for the advice. Motor World goes that they'll fit nice on Is200 but I think the problem will arrive when I lower it. Wats the bad thing about having 215s on 19 inch rims cuz everyone seems to steer away from them...? The tyres I'm getting is Yokohama Paradas Spec II If tyre wear is bare minimal then I don't mind a bit of rubbing. I only do bout 7000 miles per yr n e ways. If its minimal then ****** it then I'll hopefully get the alloy trimmed by 2-3mm get that 42 offset ******* means fook it
  10. The wheel is nu to the market and so ain't on the companies website yet. I asked the store where I'm getting them from and they goes thats the only offset they do. I can't think of any other 19s that I like except for Konigs which are impossible to get! Do you think that slapping some 18s on instead with offset of 40 and 30mm drop will make a big difference?
  11. Gord how did you have 3mm taken off the actual rim? Did you just grind away some the metal from the middle coping where the nuts go on the alloy? Will that affect the integrity of the alloy? What do you guys think about what RX dude said? Shall I just put 215's on it and risk it? What do you guys think the ride quality will be like? Cheers again ladz.
  12. How invasive are rolling the arches ? Do you have to go in with a hammer and angle grinder? I was looking for the post where it shows you how to do it but can't find it. I'm a bit worried about what Gord said cuz I got ma heart set on these rims If I was to do it and shave the fenders do you think I could get a 225 or maybe even a 235 on? Thanx again RX dude. . Peace (",)
  13. Thanx for the advice again dude. the technical dude at the store said the width was actually more like 7.5". Will this have an effect on the possible rubbing problems? I would like to avoid any type of rolling or shaving. The other site is offering me is 215's and 235's. Do you think there will be a major problem using either of these tyres? Would a spacer help things? Has anybody else had similar probs on a rim like this?
  14. Hiya there guys! Went to order some rims today for ma 51 plate black Lex. Have got it lowered on Eibachs with a 30mm drop. Was gunna get these rims and tyres for £1000 http://www.speedzone.co.uk/acatalog/DRIVER-Black.JPG Dimensions being 8x19" , 5x114.3 and having an offset of 40. Having a big problem with the tyres because the place where I'm getting them from (Motor-World) is only giving me 215-35-19 Yoko Parada Spec II tyre. Asked about upgrades to a bigger prof. tyre but there charging me £200 !. I don't want no rubbing at all if possible. What do you guys think? Should I go with 215-35 or 225-25 or even 235-35? All helps much appreciated guys. Many Thanx again
  15. Thanx alot Mr Morse for the advice. I've been quoted at another place £96 to have the springs fitting and £167 for the fitting and geo alignment together. You think thats a good price?
