  1. Hey fellas thanks for all your comments, its always good that people look at it and appreciate the hard work, our lass is pretty fed up with me talking none stop about it haha!!! The seats were cleaned with jif to start off with but then i found that if i applied it directly then the jif would show as splash mark - if that makes sense so i ended up using a green pad. i was really careful about doing this and i dont want to recommend it really as I was really nervous about damaging the leather, so once id scrubbed it I applied 3 coated of leather wax ! Hi Alex – the poly bushes were ok to fit, my dad is a good mechanic in his spare time and he took one look at them and said they are going to be a pig to fit – but they weren’t that bad. I fitted the front springs and front bushes in a day. The hardest part of the job was getting the old bushes out!   2. Hello to all, ok my center column lights arent working!!!, they work when the headlights are turned off but when i turn on my lights they go out any advice? Thank you mat

  4. Ok boys long awaited This is my project its not finshed yet i need to put the alarm on, windows tinted, alloys and respray oh and the bumper! The work ive done to it so far: 1, Stripped all the body work off to wax oil behind everything 2, Repaired the broken ariel 3, Cleaned out the throttle body 4, Changed the Drive belt 5, Cleaned the Engine as you can see by the pictures 6, replace nearly all the plastic covers in the Engine bay 7, Stripped out the boot its now been grit blasted and respray 8, repaired the auto changer and housing 9, cleaned all carpets seats and trims - this involved removing everyone and taking them home to be cleaned 10, Realigned all the doors, boot lid, and bonnet as they were out of sink 11, Repaired the dash as it didnt work - £1.00 well spent 12, stripped the dash so i could clean and repair bits 13, Repaired roof trim as it was falling down 14, Installed Amp for new sub 15, Repaired all side skirts front bumper and rear 16, sanded down all rust spots ready for respray 17, of course debadged 18, Tinted rear and side lights 19, cleaned up exusts using Autosol 20, Full Service

  8. Welcome Im lowering my ls400 next weekend has anyone got any good advice for me? ive seen some tutorials on how to remove the shocks so i see no problem. again any advice please assist Mat

  10. Ok this is a bit wierd when i turn on the radio no problems with the speakers, but whne i turn on the cd player the left side speakers crackle as if there is a fauly connection anyideas? thanks once again Mat

  13. at the mo im in the process of rebuilding my ls400 and its going to have a few mods but nothing to this nature!!! A bit tasteless no sorry very tasteless, the body kit doesnt seem to work - expensive job but over the mark im thinking!!! the one thing i love about the ls is you dont have to do a lot to make it look the dogs!!!! mat

  17. so whats the best thing todo then? i was under the impression that it was ok to take the transmission box off? i understand what you are saying.... advice is always appreciated mat
