Hello everybody. :D I was yesterday in LEXUS - in show room where I bought my IS 250 1 or 2 months ago and I thought that I can buy there a special product for my beige leather seats to keep them nice and clean and they didn't have there anything grrrr so I would like to ask you guys if u can advice me please a good product that I can use and I also would like to ask if it is necessary to impregnate that leather, cuz when I asked here in LEXUS they knew nothing about it!!!! And I don't want that leather look bad and ugly too soon! I hope u let me know asap! Thank you!!! :)

23 yo :winky: And I had SMART and mercedes C sportcoupe before so hopefully I will be satisfy even with this new LEXUS IS 250 :) . Here I seen maybe only 2 owners of this car and they looked around 30. I thought that this car usually get older men who are looking for comfy car and don't want nothing too fast and crazy, but now I can see that even 19 yo have it! WOW! :) ~Kate P.S. I've tried today for the first time the navigation system, cuz here where I live its not working so I went to Austria and it was soo confusing!!!! My cheaper TOM TOM was better and not that confusing and hard to use. Maybe I just have to get used to it or maybe I should check the manual?

Well I like to use lights even during the day cuz of safety and I asked my dealer about it and he said that it is not possible to reprogram it! I cann't believe it! I was used to have lights always on after I started the car. And it was on my mercedes that was cheaper so I expected that Lexus will has it obviosly too... Maybe I am too spoiled :P I know its not a big deal, but when u get used to something (especially what u like) then u don't wanna change it... :D I was even thinking about hiding the sensor with something so car will think that is dark lol but what if there are more sensors and I hide even sensor for raining? Actually yesterday was raining and I had my 1st chance to see that "raining sensor" and I was pretty mad cuz there were too many raindrops on my window that I could nothing see and the "raining sensor" was still off... And suddenly it has woken up and started to work properly I have really bad luck I guess... I noticed that phone is working just when the car stand. Is it same with ur car guys? I mean people can call me even when I drive, but when I wanna call I cann't use it while I drive. Maybe its cuz of safety same as DVD? Besides the lights I am satisfy with this car.... But that light leather will be soon v dirty... Can u advice me some special sprays plz? Thank you. ~Kat :winky:

Hi there! Firstly I would like to thank you to all guys that were so helpful and answered all my questions! I have this car since yesterday and I am v satisfy so far, although I still find the price too high for this car. :P (maybe I have this feeling because this is the most expesnive car I ever had) I've got IS 250 -luxury vesrion with MM. i wanted to post even some pics, but I didnt know that I will need URL. I supposed that I will be able to upload them here. SO maybe next time! :winky: My question is about lights. I noticed that they don't automatically turn on as they did when I had mercedes. IS it possible to reprogram it that they will always automatically turn on after I START the car? The next question is voice control. I noticed that I can controll with voice: audio and map and what about phone? Can I controll even phone with that? I hope u let me know asap! Thx guys! ~Kate :)

Thank you 2 ALL 4 ur reply! :) I actually know what exactly luxury and sport pack. includes I was just wondering if there is a big difference when u drive luxury and sport, cuz some say that with sport u can feel every hole on the road and I was wondering if with luxury u don't feel it and if it is more quiet.

Hi everyone! :) Tomorrow is my big day, cuz I am going to buy NEW LEXUS IS 250. :winky: At least I am 90% sure that I will buy it! :P I test drove only SPORT version and I am going to buy luxury version, cuz I've heard that u feel the road less with it and here are not the best roads so u can feel everything with SPORT VERSION. I would like to ask u if there is a big difference between luxury and sport, cuz my dealer has told me that it is not that big just slight difference. I would like to know ur opinion! Hi everybody. :) I was wondering how does the "SMART ENTRY KEYLESS SYSTEM " exactly work with LEXIS IS? I know that doors are opening even without taking out the key and such, but I was actually wondering if it works the same even when wanna close the car? I guess with MB and their 'key less go' u opened and closed car without taking out the key. Correct me if I am wrong. SO I was curious if it is the same even with "SMART ENRTY KEYLESS SYSTEM". If u know more info about it I will appreciate if u let me know... Thank you in advance. Katarina

BECAUSE This BMW3 that I wanted had almost everyhting that LEXUS and the price was very similar. I actually already test drove BMW3 (it was gr8, but I didn't like the interior) and if I wanted one I will have to wait 3 months! =( And this Lexus they already have in stock so I would have it in few days. :) I even asked the dealer about the "rattle thning" and of course he pretended like that he hears it first time and he just told me that this problems have had GS in the past, but it is all solved now. OMG who wants a car that rattle??? Not sure if I should take this risk and get this car and just hope that it won't rattle. I have generally very bad experiences with car services and I wanted to get this car mostly cuz of the RELIABLE THING and that I will finally avoid car services!!! And one last question... I test drove only IS 250 in sport version and it seemed quite stiff and I could feel there every hole on the road... Is luxury more quiet and comfy??? I would like to get this luxury version, but I cann't test drive it right now... Please let me know! THX! :D ~Kate

Thank you for ur reply. And when did u notice that strange noise? I guess I will have to ask for another test drive and will check it out... Now I am soo desperate, cuz I don't wanna spend that lot of money for BRAND NEW CAR that will sound like an old rattletrap! I thought that LEXUS cars are extremely quiet... Hmmmmm I am still debating between BMW3 and LEXUS IS250..... Any advices what shall I do?

Hi there. I would like to ask u if u test drove even luxury and sport version, because I test drove just sport version and I found it too stiff for me and I could feel every hole on the road so I decided to order luxury version, but they don't have it for test drive right now. Can u tell me if there is a difference at all? I mean if it is more quiet and comfy, cuz thats what I am looking for :) . Thank you in advance. Kate

Hi there. I am thinking to get this car LEXUS IS 250 - luxury version and I read lot of artickles about this car and all complain about RATTLE. I was wondering if u have this problem just in SPORT version or even in LUXURY version? I actually have a sport car that has this rattle as well and it is even not LEXUS. Please let me know asap! Hi everyone :) I am thinking about getting this car LEXUS IS250, but they have in show room just "sport package" and I don't think that i want to wait 3 months for luxury! I was even on the test drive and this car didnt seem very quiet and I could felt all holes on the road. I would like to ask u if luxury package is more quait and comfy? I am actually thinking to get MB SLK 280 which I love soo much, but not sure if it is a car for every day and especially when I live in eastern EUROPE where is not that often nice sunny (i am single thou so the lil space in the car wouldn't be a big problem) or should I get this LEXUS IS 250 which would be more comfy and practical.
