    the potentiometer on the side wont be in place properly, its the slidy thing on the side of the screen unit

  2. You need to top the system up with coolant into the rad until its full, then squeeze thepipes to get the air out.

    Once that's done put the rad cap on and fill the overflow tank to the line.

    Check it over the next day and see if the level moves as the air bleeds out.

  3. If your looking at this from a financial point of view then get the lex sold.

    the 1gfe can handle the boost to around 0.8 - 1.0bar WITH THE RIGHT MAPPING, just dont expect it to last forever as its not built for that,

    It'll handle 0.5bar all day long though. All the issues in the early day were because the cars being built were done by a particular tuner who couldnt get the mapping right and kept blowing them up.

    To turbo a lexus is a thing to do if you enjoy modifying cars and want something a little different to the normal jap scene. Not because you want a financially sound project.
