Wow that's a different twist on things
I can only say the TTE ones are very reliable, and output similar levels of power,
although some of us have upgraded to bigger intercoolers :)
-
probably best so no clashing TBH for anyone mate :)
-
I know someone who used to be very naughty with an air rifle (not me I hasten to add) which kinda did the trick,
but otherwise bird seed regularly dropped on a nearby road road might help them go elsewhere :D
-
At least you don't have to wear a wig & a dress Steve (like Johnboy & I did for charity once on LOC LINKY ),
but if you do and we get photo's I may well double my donation !!
For those of a delicate disposition please look away now !!!

If you were a GOLD member, the WIM settings are in the Goldies forum :winky:
or better still take you car to WIM to be set up Dex :)
-
I go 3-5 times a day......... in my dreams
-
The OBDII port is on the driver side dash at the lowest edge by the pedals.
If it is the coilpacks, a courier should still be able to get them to you for Saturday :D
-
Coil packs won't take long to fit mate, do you have the induction kit or TTE airbox ?
You could try the ECU but I don't think that will fix it.
-
Here is the OBDII codes LINKY
-
Normally it is a coil pack mate, you need an OBDII reader to get the code,
Stav or Barrie had a list of the codes pinned, I will look for it.
BTW coilpacks tend to go in pairs and prices range from £60 ish pattern part to £100 Lexus.

Well said :)

Sorry to hear this mate, ahh well you did promise me a ride in your car on Sunday,
looks like it will have to be the Porsche then :winky:
-
Sorry to hear of your loss mate.
-
deffo not for me, and at nearly $150 inc shipping they are very expensive !!
-
Glad to hear she has insurance Dan, looks like you will go un-penalised,
though as Rabster pointed out it may still be an issue.....
I think you could do with having a preist give the car a blessing mate, I think it needs it
-
Hmmmmmm single or twin turbo, that's the question !!
-
Big time name & shame at your work matey, she not only hit your car and (from what you have told me)
then got out to inspect the damage, then decided to drive away. She is also (from the looks of it) un-insured
as well (unless she re-insured elsewhere) so is a major danger to every other road user including pedestrians.
Sorry but if you can't afford the insurance, don't buy the car !! No excuses !! It doesn't bear thinking about
if she had hit or killed a pedestrian. I can't help it, I hate un-insured drivers.
People who are un-insured, or fail to stop or give details are only one small step above drivers with no licence
or Drunk/Drugged drivers. The lack of meaningfull punishment handed out by the courts means people are
put at risk by moronic low-life scum everyday :tsktsk: :tsktsk:
I would suggest you pass the details on to the police as she is still (possibly) driving a car on the road without
insurance, she should at least be given a quiet word to by the Police, as she was obvioulsy using the car on the
public highway without cover. She should be fined and points added to her licence :tsktsk: and then slapped
around the head with a big smelly fish in the town stocks :D
Also how can she expect any of her students to respect her when she behaves in such a way ?
Hmmmm nice example................................. not !!! Time for a leak of information me thinks !!!
Rant over. I hope you get this fixed asap and you are not penalised by your insurer Dan.
-
Nice work Steve, looking forward to reading your magazine (if you pardon the expression )
-
forget Track Days IMO, you need a LOC trip to the Nurburgring :winky:
Just simply awesome going around the worlds most notorious racetrack with your pals from LOC :D
-
I need bonnet struts seeing as mine were sent to the wrong address by prolex and are now "missing"
Oh no not another postal saga :o, I hope they turn up matey & soon :)
-
Nice work matey
-
Sounds like fun :)
Do you have a full address or directions from M25 etc ?
(I think it's off the A30 somewhere ?)
-
Patrik Lindblom has done a similar thing with a standalone Sony Sat-Nav in his IS200 SC.
BTW the older screens are 5.5" and the later version is 7" so you may have to do some extensive
facia work depending on which Sat-Nav you want, and your housing screen size.
Good luck with it :)
-
on top of that it will drive second hand prices from the gutter (where they currently are)
to totally down the drain :)
Another load of Governmental spin (or BS if correctly named) IMO :tsktsk:

You think you have problems
I must admit I like fact it still rates very highly. It's the most reliable car I have ever owned.
(previous cars including 2 Ford's, a Honda, a Subaru & a Vauxhall)
