trd altezza

so what do i do then?

i got the turbo rebuilt on the altezza because the oil seals where gone and it was pushing oil on to the air filter.when we started the car it was idling rough and it sorted it self out but when you rev the car it has gone in to limp mode it would only rev to 4,000rpm. we took the throttle bodie off and found there was loads of oil sitting in the intake manifold that was cleaned out and the throttle bodie put back on. it was started up and it just hit the limiter which was real scary what do i do?how did the oil get in the intake manifold?and do i just buy a new throttle bodie? does the altezza ecu go in to limp mode when the engine management light comes on?im running a HKS f-con btw.

thats nice considering they had no probloms sending the other lights to my address i sent a total of 6 e-mails and only got 2 back and this is one of the 2 ******ers there a bunch of ***** i sent the hids back and they sent the new ones to a differant address!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nope, no problem at all. 1 of the lads did it on his Civic, 2 seperate X5 kits... @trd altezza: if they don't take them back u can re-use the ballast boxes & just buy the bulb/harness kit for the 9006 ;) i sent the 9005 hids back to get replaced and iv sent like four e-mails but no reply there web site isnt working ether its like the just vanished. :tsktsk:

i think there mint :winky: would ye say there 17's?? Look like a set of 16's you would find on a civic! Have u gotten ur car yet?? Why not just powder coat the standard ones a different colour for now! 350 for the 4 ye i have it but im very fussy about the wheels

Well i could have returned them to him but probably would have cost me another 30 quid in p+p and another 2 months of waiting so i said fook it i stick them on. Dont want to be naming who i got them off. Probably get them resprayed when i get my new bumper :P what bumper ye getting??

Go to a toyota dealer and get prices for genuine parts....... Then come back and see if you are still laughing. Or alternatively go back to the Japanese used car place where you bought your car and watch him laugh. He's laughing because you believed him when he told you that your car was fully serviced and the milage was genuine. whats a full service to you?? plugs filter oil filter water pump oil belts brake fluid gear box oil anything else???

The mechanic where I got it done was able to source everything. He did have a small Hic-Up when he was sent the wrong timing belt. But he got another and all was good. I got a major service using genuine toyota parts including water pump, idler, all belts and fluids, it did however cost me €1200, €350 of which was labour. But if you know this lad it may work out cheaper a €1200 service

My HIDs come on, on the dipped beam.Just incase you dont know, there is 4 bulbs in the headlight: 1. sidelight 2. dipped beam 3. Full beam 4. Indicator Pic one shows normal dipped beam lights on and sidelight(my side light is a blue LED) This pic shows Full beams on aswell as dipped beam and sidelight Hope this make sense to ya, sorry for bad quality pics, i took them with my phone ah ***** they better take them back i havnt even opened the box!!

The HID's go in your Dipped, otherwise whats the point in fitting them? just got me hid kit from http://www.hid-lights.com they were very fast i ordered it on saterday! :D just wana make sure i got the right kit for my tezza is this ok???? X5 8K 9005 dont mean to dissopoint u mate but my car is 2006 for the dipped as i ordered 9005 and the wouldnt fit unless mine is different but i cant see why what are you searous?? it says 9005 for the is300 :tsktsk: wait these are for my high beams ya its 9006 for dipped and 9005 for fulls .Can i ask why are u puttin hids in your fulls have u them alreadyin your dips cos thats were your ment to put them in your fulls :duh:

What cuurently in it? If your getting them re covered in leather you could get any colour you want. If i had the money i would get black and bronze, same colour scheme as the dash im thinking about black leather.is there any way to make the seats softer?? ;)

does any have pics of leather seats in a altezza?my altezza is silver and i dont know what colour seats to go for black are tan?

Welcome Steve not sure where u can get the black headlights from, want some myself. think most people that have them sprayed them themselves. You can get the dark chrome rear lights from any Lexus dealer. Are they the ones your talking about? I have them on mine iv searched high and low and cant find them head lights anywhere!!!!!!!
