before i got the altezza i was looking at evo's and was going to get a evo 6 but then they told me it would be 6k euros to insure . even now when i look at insuring a evo its very high . i just dont know how people can afford to do it

Saw this link on the NZ Altezza site. Maybe an easier option. think its a bolt on kit. No idea about price though linky Click on the Turbo kits(bolt on) link If i could find an irish insurance company that would insure it i would buy one myself!! already got a insurance company that will insure me with a bolt on turbo or a engine conversion FBD. its not a problom in there mind they only want a extra 400 euros for it

cheers didnt know mat used the same engine . ill have a look . i was warned against doing this by one guy . he said id be better off getting the engine i had turbo'd . im just trying to make my mind up

what would a 96 aristo'd bhp at standard be ? dose it run on 100 ron or 97 ron at standard ?

would a 96 Aristo engine fit in the engine bay of a 99 altezza ? im trying to decide on the best way of getting power from my car and people keep telling me the best option is to buy a factory turbo'd car if i want a turbo . but i like the look of my car so whilst looking through various car sites i saw that i coudl get a cheep (6k) aristo and the ida came into my head . id be buying the entire car so id have all the parts . also if it would actually be worth doing ?

Nope, no problem at all. 1 of the lads did it on his Civic, 2 seperate X5 kits... @trd altezza: if they don't take them back u can re-use the ballast boxes & just buy the bulb/harness kit for the 9006 ;) i sent the 9005 hids back to get replaced and iv sent like four e-mails but no reply there web site isnt working ether its like the just vanished. :tsktsk: same here but the site still works. they dont like answering mails

Ooh nasty, if its your manifold that has a hole a good welder could fix it, but if you need a few welds on different sections, labour could be a lot over here and it may be cheaper to upgrade. RS200 exhaust differs from the IS200 so sourcing it over here could be a problem. couture auto do some exhaust systems for the altezza, they could help you out. ye ask to speak to ben or ask if he can give you a ring. you could also ask if he wanted to sell the one from the altezza they have there. 01 825 3949 tho ben aint around most days so he could end up ringing you at 7pm this evening to talk it over.

yep i got the 9005 lights 2 . i thought they were the dipped ones . unless the 00 altezza differs from the 98-99 . ill have to find out . bah

which one is for the low and the high ? is h7 low ? im going on memory and the 9005 highs ? so would need 2 kits if u wanted both high and low ? that skyline is it the same one that was belonging to one of the manic motors lads ?the autotrader rep i think ?
