  1. Just thought I'd ask if anyone is attending the Ford RSOC National Day this Sunday at Donnington ?

I used to own an Escort RS Cosworth so still have many friends from the club, which is why I'm going up.

I'm driving up the Caterham 7 2.3 Duratec which is going on the Performance Ford stand, so if you see me - say hi !!!!

    said Caterham.....

  2. The pic of the ash tray was my car ..... the pic does make it look very bad though, when in fact it looks quite nice in real life (was taken in the garage so flash had bad affect).

I personally really like it there though, and put some felt in the bottom of the drinks holder (never use them anyway) and put loose coins in there.

The actual display itself I have now tidied up (or rather Mum did) by covering it all and making it flush, so it makes it look like it's meant to be there (that's what I really wanted).

Glad you guys are looking at my workshop article though :) :) :)

  3. Car covers............well, you can have it in large big small round medium square yellow blue pink green inside outside mixture polyurethane cotton you name it you can have it !!!

The car cover world really does cater for each individual need - whether you want an entirely indoor cover, or all the way through to one that will protect your car from snow, you can have one.

    Classic Additions Website

Go there. They're classic additions and they are brilliant. I've bought two covers from there and both times they have been absolutely PERFECT. They do a massive range of standard covers (i.e. standard fit sizes) but will also do custom fit ones. For the std fit you're looking at about £70, for the mutt's nuts tailored to your car (the ones I got) then you're looking at £220.

Guy there by the name of Adrian Bowes (if I remember correctly) is the man to talk to - so helpful.

Also, if you go Gold you get 10% off from them.

So - give them a ring, have a chat, tell them exactly what you've got and why you want a car cover, and they'll 100% be able to help.

PS: No I dont work for them, it's just that they're one of the few companies in the car world that I have dealt with who have been absolutely impeccable !!!

  4. had to rip it to getsome answers, cos the "maker" had spelt the answers wrong

knew the answer, but couldn't get it to give me the points because of spelling errors in the sheet

I find things like that SOOO funny !!!

It has to be exact (i.e. sometimes you have to try things like feat. or featuring, you know the sorts of things I mean) and then they go balls it up by spelling it wrong anyway !! donuts !!!!

  5. I can share this though http://amjec.co.uk/PopQuiz60-901.xls

You know there's the geek test posted on LOC also? Well this is how much of a geek I am.......whenever I get one of those fill in the blanks excel sheets, I always try and crack them. Some are absolutely piece of cake, but what I really find a challenge is the ones that have hidden the formulas, locked and protected all the cells, and password protected it. I like a good challenge :)

    Ok, I'll get my coat.

    Oh - :offtopic: oops !!

Anyway......the BMW vs Mercedes emblem question.

  6. :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk: SO annoyed I couldn't make this :( :( :(

personal circumstances dictated in the end. Would have been great to see you all again, alas it just couldn't happen.

Damn damn damn damn damn damn damn. DAMN !!!

Glad to hear you all had a top time though !

    A very regretful Tony (:()
