How on earth do you get those mpg's? Are you an elf? Best I've had so far is 46 mpg!!!

I try to drive in the blue in Eco mode as much as possible !

Do the 16" wheels make that much difference?

Has anyone managed to find these in the UK, I can order them from Lexus at £500!!! or get them from eBay for about £170 shipped from the USA.

has anyone got them at a better price form the UK. I'm fairly sure I can fit them myself.

I have a 61 Reg CT and I have smart Entry on mine, the front sensors are a bit crap, on my previous GS they were quite good but were sometimes caught out by sensors in the road setting them off and snow builds up on them when your driving and drives you crazy. I've only heard mine work once when someone walked past the car while i was at lights.

I also miss not being able to open the back doors first with smart entry, great when you got a sleeping toddler. overall im enjoying the CT :)

I got my CT last week but I'm really missing my HID lights I had on the GS. It's been a while since I've looked at halogen / Xenon bulbs so not sure what's the best at the moment

Back when I had my IS200 PIAA bulbs were the best but has anyone upgraded there's?

I'm looking for the impossible I know but I'm after HID look and good light coverage on the road

Finally got my Car yesterday, quite happy with it so far :) but very disappointed with the tyre fix kit solution, not even a space saver !! and very very upset that I've not been able to find Kylie as yet!!

I must admit it's going to be a bit of a cut back for me from the GS with so much space and lots of power but gotta cut costs and thats the same colour I've gone for :)

I now have my DICE kit installed. Im not sure if i like how it works but it's in and working :)

I've got a Dice ipod lead to fit to my cars stereo, but not sure how to take out the radio, on the IS and previous GS I started by yanking out the air vents at the top, they dont seem to move on the new GS.

Any one have a link to a guide?

Ok this is the way I did it, you need another phone and a way to connect it to your computer that has your itunes on it

connect up your Iphone to your PC/MAC and sync your contacts into mail or outlook

save the contacts from mail or outlook to a file

put that file on the other phone and import them as contacts

this should populate your donor phone with the iphones contacts

connect up your donor phone with the Lexus and copy your contacts

it's a faf but worth it for me as I cannot find a better phone for me than the Iphone :)

Sugar Cubes do work at removing the ink from the plastic :)

silk screening is a process where they squeeze ink through a silk screen with bits cut out for the letters or logos, i think !!

I know we have a lot of experts in different professions here in the club so I'm reaching out for some help with a little project I'm working on.

Basically I wish to remove some silk screen print from some ABS plastic. I've tried white spirit, which cleans up the plastic nice but does nothing for the print.

and I've tried nail polish remover which does move the ink but also melts the plastic, due to the acetone I guess.

someone has mentioned using a sugar cube, but I don't have one to try, or see it being much use

Please post if you have an idea or proven technique. I wish to leave the plastic intact and retain its texture, but without the pesky ink.

I have the same problem with my GS 300 06

it's "normal" so im told. it doesnt always do it for me and if i make the call from the phone and not the touch screen it never buzzes at all, it just takes longer to connect and other person usually hangs up!!

Apparently it's down the the crappy software on the Bluetooth lexus kit. I doubt they will fix it. and this affects more than just Iphones.

I've had my MK3 GS300 for a couple of months now, when the weather is hot ( I know, rare in the UK) say above 20C the rear parcel shelf squeaks/rattles like crazy when driving around.

Lexus have just given me the car back after having it for 2 days to try to find and fix this problem. typically the weather was poor and they couldnt hear or find the issue. they have no problems having it back in again to look but I wondered if anyone else has had this problem and knows what's causing it?

I've got an 06 GS300 and an Iphone 3G. some weird things go on between the 2. if you call from the phone, its fine, if you call from the touch screen in the car. it sometimes make a horrible screeching sound in the car then connects but sometimes it takes a while to connect and the other end think it's bad call and hang up before the car lets you talk to them. picking up calls is fine and as was mentioned earlier you cannot send your contacts to the car from the Iphone.

Having said that, I wouldn't have any other phone but an Iphone at the moment, it's just ticks all the boxes for me, and the upcoming update to OS3 may fix some of the issues Im having at the moment.
