ive just got my private reg on its L6XTC cost me about £320 all in,people have commented thinkin it cost over a grand!!

Personally i dont think it looks chav, ive done it myself and only left the Sport badge on the front grill!! The back end looks spot on, and the day chavas start driving Lexus's is the day i start looking for another car!! Ive had that many looks from charvas wondering what the car is now its been debadged, also now ive removed them it saves the chavas pinching the badges!! Chris CLASS!!! Made me chuckle

Alright mate, nice idea about the lights being sprayed. But dont debadge the boot, it will start to look like a chav mobile like the corsas, clios, fiestas and saxos out there that pimple faced teenagers drive thinking they look cool, when in actual fact they look proper burberry chavs (I do hope I didnt offend anyone) By all means get hold of a new black grill and keep the badge off that and put a red and black trd emblem on, that looks good. alright lexus tom,i no what ya mean by the chav look and that,i was gonna leave the middle lex badge and take the others off.i dunno tho decisions decisions!!i will wait a couple of days see what others think. jammy gonna attemt it at the weekend(i think),so if i do it i will let you know how i get on. i saw the link you put on for me above,so the actual chrome cluster comes away from the light then?..... and could i not use the original sealant that is on already or would it just be better to scrape old sealer off and apply some new?sorry for all the questions mate.

hi guys and girls, could some1point me in the right direction .i want to smoke my front lights(is200 by the way),take the orange indicators out(i think).but im wondering if you do it in the same way as i usually do,ie heatgun to warm up the sealent,metal bodger,spatula,spreader whatever you wanna call it to open them up,masking tape to mask up the areas you dont wanna paint.but what paint do i use,would it be rattle can black,or waterbased black and laquer over,or highgloss black,the last two are straight from a paint gun :duh: :duh: .tell ya the truth im pretty nervous about doin this on my new car,also shall i debadge the boot?there isnt no holles behind the badge is there?...all info appreciated :D

no not all by myself kazi,i had some help from a pro for the screen,because i heard about the internal amp bein a pain in the :tsktsk: ,but the boot install was all me. :) and believe me kazi black is the mutts nutts when its all polished up,i love them under the street lights at night.i was lookin 4 a black one,as most the cars i had before were black.but the ones i was lookin at were either extortionate prices or starship enterprise miles.beat this went to look at 1 in stoke, black,9.5k, 47k,SUBTLE MODS....i got there and he had 4 jap cans on the rear,a subaru bonnet vent stuck on the front.and if that wasnt bad enough he said light front end damage.well could some1 tell me if the front wheels are pointing in opposite directions and lookin somethin outta wacky races,tell me where its light!!! there is some wacko's out there lads i tell ya!!

sorry its a lil to far for me really,especially on a work night haha.but the notts and derby thing sounds good.sorry to sound like a bit of a bore... i used a toyota colour think it was 585 at a guess standard shade,its a pretty good match if i do say so my self!!could not find the proper colour on our system!

vinokirk,i know exactly what ya mean!!ive done a couple on fiesta's,but i dont dare to do mine,you no how it is with a new car and everythin,and iceman,leave it out mate,do you know how hard it is explaining to a woman why its more beneficial to have an ice install than go on holiday for two weeks!!!how would i explain a supercharger haha!!

i am now an official owner of a lexus is200 sport 52reg!! :D :D :D random thing here,but how hot are the heaters in these things,my eyes dried up after 2 mins. got my install in now which comprises of jl audio w7 sub,jl audio 1000/1 amp,slot ported box,jl audio wiring all round,impulse 1.5 farad power cap and alpine 7" motorised touch screen dvd player. on the waiting list is a back box(dunno which one yet tho),window visors,tints,smoked led rear lights,was gonna get 19's,but i think i will go for 18's and put her on the tarmac!!and i am GAGGIN for that tte or trd kit.ive put my eye-brows on,but i dunno if im keepin them on.oh yeah and i got a bee-sting ariel. sorry for goin on but i am buzzin!!filled the tank the day i got it at about 2:30,petrol light was on at 4!!!im in love!!oh and its that wierd champagne colour.think thats enough for now..... :shutit:
