  1. Luckly for me - the fault appeared when the car was switched off - it was fine parked up came back an hour later and the wheel was almost un-moveable. But no warning light on the dash - even when ignition turned on an off the P/S light comes on and goes off again as usual Would be interesting to find out from Lexus what the fault was
  2. Lexus replaced the sterring rack - as Lexux Belfast is a Franchise they do not repair only replace so the rack has been returned to Lexus - so don't know what the problem was!! But car returned (hire car supplied) washed & hoovered all is well
  3. RAC turned up (in record time) chap agreed could'nt be driven - low loader arrived - car taken to Lexus Belfast - steering rack replaced (they don't know what the problem was as they don't open it, just send back to Lexus) Have'nt had car back yet - all quite mysterious really
  4. mmmm... will keep you posted RAC should be here soon .... great last words
  5. 06 IS250 Sport - 25,000 miles - power steering seems to have packed up - really stiff to turn wheel (RAC on the way) anyone else had PS problems Cheers Eddie
  6. Any one tried the LED Signals Mirror Cover? Saw them on ebay - look great Eddie
  7. I believe an up to date Irish DVD does exsist - sure I have seen the details on the forum somewhere, up north all but the most minor roads seem to show up on the map - having said that cross the border into Louth and the new road building schemes have outwitted the system - not unreasonably as you would have to go some to keep up with the by-passes that are springing up all over the East of the country (*** Bless the EU) Eddie
  8. First of all hats off for a helpful and informative forum... I am the proud owner of a Messa Red IS250 sport with beige interior - the mats are getting a little grubby - has anyone purchased after market mats from ebay (black) as they claim to be proper fit - but in the past i have bought Halfords BMW!!! mats that no more fitted the car and after hours of cutting and trimming really didn't fit either! Cheers Eddie
  9. Have a IS250 sport with the auto dimming mirrors - and they don't seem to dim much - unlike my Z4 which was really obvious - is it just that Lexus are a little more subtle - or they are not working? Cheers eddie
  10. Most Sony Ericsson - except the P910i was a bit iffy -
  11. Just chopped in my Z4 3.0 roadster for a 250is sport - could'd take the bone jarring any longer - having said that - not a lot wrong with the BMW - was a loyal buyer for 10 years -
  12. Anyone know what are good chemicals to clean grubby suede seats - beige in colour? Cheers Eddie
  13. Just picked up my 06 Messa Red 250is sport - well pleased - all works !!*!! except my sony ericsson p910i **!! phone sees the car as "handsfree" but the car don't see the phone - is this something other members have experienced - before i waste the next week trying to get it to work Cheers Eddie
