  1. Better check to make sure them 20" go under your arches without rubbing. At best you may need to roll the rear arches, at worst you may need stiffer suspension (and a lack of rear passengers).
  2. er .... how soon? I can live without the tyres but what do you mean no 10" rears? Just to clear it up, are you only selling the fronts or are the rears a different size? Give me a shout as to what their like and what you might be looking for them! :winky:
  3. No, you wont have too many problems with 19" wheels. The gearbox will take it, but your handling may not be as good. And you speedo may not be as accurate either. If you put anything over 18" on your car, your main worry would be your handling and ride comfort on your car. Both could be potentially lost. Though having said that, a set of 19's would LOOK very nice.
  4. Gareth old bean Im glad your here aswell. :) I honestly never thought the Supra boys would be into these wheels, i think iv only ever seen ONE Supra with these wheels on. But il check them out and see what see what i can find. Perhaps a silly question, but whats ... er.... TTE again???
  5. Seriously, are these really THAT rare that no body knows about them? Iv also read they're not the "strongest" of alloys, is this true?
  6. I dunno!!! Iv only had it a couple of days and havnt really driven it much yet. Havnt ran it on petrol yet but if that solves it then i guess i know where my answer lies. BUT . . . . having said that, iv read in plenty of places now that theres no real difference in performance wether running it on petrol OR LPG. Even Daniels seems to have enough power on LPG, mine seems to feel like its driven on a 9V battery! I think il take it out in abit and run it solely on petrol and see if that improves things, somehow i get the feeling it wont.
  7. Some one else has also suggested resetting the ECU may do the trick. Nobody however had said anything about leaving the key turned in the ignition for 6 minutes.
  8. The 18" alloy wheels for a Lexus GS300 Sport are about as rare as rocking horse siht!!! Is there anywhere that perhaps makes replicas of these wheels? Or are Lexus dealers the last resort, is so how much is a set from them? il be sitting down when i read the answer to this one!!!
  9. No, the only light on is the the little symbol of the car with the rear lights on. Dont know if that would be doing anything to hamper performance? Can i read these at home or is it a garage or dealer only thing? I know in most cars codes can be read at home by usually connecting 2 pins somewhere, usually by a paperclip, and then counting the flashes on the dash board. Anything similiar on this car?
  10. er ... no. Are they under the drivers foot well as usual? And im guessing im looking at a fuse that has something to do with the rear lights?
  11. Iv only bought this car yesterday but already i can tell something is wrong with it as there is virtually no pickup on it what so ever, especially at motorway speeds. Trying to overtake some one at 70Mph and i will have better luck if i got out and pushed the thing. If i floor it i can feel the gears changing down but the acceleration is very slow. Standard on these cars is 220Bhp, this seems to run like it has about 70Bhp. As a matter of fact on an uphill climb on the M62 motorway it actually started losing speed!!! :o This is NOT what i was expecting from a 3.0 V6. The car is LPG converted but could that REALLY be killing the performance by that much??? Or could it something more like a MAF sensor or something. Please help before i burn it.
  12. Hi Just bought my 1994 GS300. A light came on the dash last night that now wont go out. It looks like a symbol of a car with the rear lights on. If i indicate left or right then this light will start to flash with the indicators aswell. When the indocator goes out so will the light, but a few seconds later the light comes back on. Its also knocked thecruise control out as it wont come on whilst this light is on. It came on when i put the rear fog lights on, now wont go out. What does this mean and whats it trying to tell me? Oh yeah, the rear brake lights do work, i thought it might be telling me a bulb had blown but they all seem fine. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
