Does anyone know how loud \ droney (if thats a word) the veilside titanium exhaust would be on an rs200?

So which is true, about suspension difference?Altezza's not an uncompromised handling/driver's car then, not a homologation special - just fatter engine? Seems there's basic, Z and L. Z and L have better tyres and lots more. Only difference between Z and L is L has 'leather and excene', and an all-leather seats extra-cost option. There's also 6MT or 5AT - 5AT lacks sports suspension, oil cooler, fuel consumption gauge, aero grille, and LSD and TRC are extra-cost options. Sunroof is extra-cost option on all models - what chance of that?Looks like I need 6MT L-pack with leather option and sunroof option. Is that being too picky? Na its not being picky just very hard to find one to match all your needs. Most Altezzas are Z's. Over 100 Altezzas for sale in Ireland! If you wanted the leather option you could do what I did (and others) and buy a used interior and swap it over.

Sorted it on friday night. Had to cut off the connectors and solder the wires together. Wire guide from MrSingh was helpfull. All working now. :D

Got a bit more info on the wires though. Going to have a go tonight. Might be a problem driving home though as I have fitted the drivers side and it is tilted right back. Can't move it without power!

I just got a uk interior and need to know where to get a power supply for the electric seats. I did a search and found a post detailing the wires but being a bit thick (and not having a dig about) I don't know where to connect them to. Anyone got a fools guide for this? Ta.

Can anyone tell me the best place to get a HKS silent? I have decided I want something quieter for my RS200 than the Kazama 1. TDI seem to do them but Iwas thinking there might be some place cheaper. Thanks.

Yes I read a post where he said it was loud on his car after I started this thread. At least I know there is nothing wrong with it.

I like it being loud 90% of the time don't get me wrong. I was just starting to worry it was not right after reading that it was not an amazingly loud exhaust on the IS200. Cheers for putting my mind at rest. I'll enjoy it again.

I have a Prolex Kazama 1 cat back exhaust fitted to my rs200 and it's really loud. I have read that they are not meant to make a massive change in noise. Is this right? Could there be a problem with it? I can be heard coming home from a couple of streets away I have been told. cheers. jim.

The silver paint code is: 1C0 - Millenium Silver Try to use any fully synthetic oils, I tend to use 5w-40. thanks, I had fully synthetic put in it and got some touch up paint. Looking a lot better now.

Ah ye just he never worked on one before! He got there in the end. Just make sure they do a tidy job on it, no cables visible anywhere, everything waterproofed etc. Right, got car back from alarm place. It's fitted and it works but I need to take it back next week so they can make it work with the central locking! This will have no extra charge but thought they would have done it all in one go. In for a service and a check over at the mo. Expensive couple of days but the peace of mind will be worth it. Would the 98 RS200 paint be Toyota Lucerne Silver? Got a few stone chips to sort out. Check the Vin plate in the Engine bay for the paint code for your car. Its located beside the battery, to the left of it as your looking at the engine. I forgot about that. Thanks.

No it's not a full service, just oil change, filters and check over. Is there anything I should find out / let them know? It's an import garage and they service our tt supra. Also sounds like the alarm people are having problems fitting it. Not sure what because they said it will still be ready for 5 tonight. Starting to worry now. I had a similar problem getting my alarm fitted. The guy fitting it said that he would never install an alarm on a car like this again! He said the electrics on them are crazy! Get them to check all the belts and water pump. Would be worth ur while upgrading the panel filter to the likes of a HKS or Apexi one. If your plugs need changing maybe upgrade to iridium ones Cheers for the advice. They managed to fit yours in the end then? I'll stop the worry. Sure it will be fine.
