After one year of troublefree ownership the coolant bypass hose has just had to be replaced but otherwise it has been a brilliant car just as expected.

Had someone go in the back of me a few years ago (before I got the Lexus) and they were with Direct Line. I was very impressed with how the insurers handled it. It was repaired to a very high standard at a decent bodyshop.

Pads need doing now at 37K. Mine's an Auto so I wondered if they would wear out quicker than on a manual (less engine braking). Not sure about tyres as they were fitted by previous owner.

It's not the most economical of cars but I am just back from a long trip over the weekend and averaged 32-35mpg. Seems a bit better than normal but just had a service where the air filter was replaced so that could explain it. I used Tesco normal unleaded during that trip.
