    Some of the reviews,have been critical of the centre console quality,some have critical of the cars performance of the V6 engine,the boot space and non folding rear seats,lack of headroom and legspace for rear passengers has come upto.

    Thats good to hear mate.Yes its going to be my first Lexus,when I bought current car Honda Accord,I was actually looking at the previous IS 200/300.Its nice to hear a real owners opinion,rather than these quite seemingly harsh reviews.

    Cheers Alex,thats probably why then.The ads are flooded with SE's in silver,cant belive buyers were going for these options,there other than to save money,get the extras and a nice colour,thats what i say :)

    Shows what I know :) , the Sport model (auto) in Windsor blue is my prefered choice, unfortunatley the ones ive found have got manual gearboxes.

    I still am, but on searching I come across this one,its in Amberley Gold which isnt one of my prefered colours,Its a mar 2006 (06) SE,one owner with 73,420 miles, £6450, Its at Lexus Stoke,wish it was in Windsor Blue :)

    I agree with the above post.about being a safe driver and attentative driver, but unfortunatley that some drivers around us are not,jumping red lights,tailgating,driving with no lights on at night etc are commonplace.this morning left home to use the A6 towards Leiceste,to find the road closed ahead of me,ive just now read one man was killed and three injured after the drivers BMW X6 left the road and went down a ditch,there was another car involved,no details as yet.But going back to topic,I would always want to be in a highly safety rated car over anyother.

    Fantastic Pics guys, thought the dark blue was my fav,but there all nice,especially the white.Was white paint an extra cost extra? You dont see very many in that colour.

    Thanks Steve, advice yes, im sure there will be loads to read on the forum. Candidates,yes ill post up when I find one,espcially good if someone on here has bought from that dealer,but im trying to keep my search pretty local to the east midlands area,bought the car I own at the my,03 plate honda accord from manheim car auctions,and that cars served me well,so might go down the auction road if one comes up there.

    Yes im afraid so guys,I dont even have a Lexus,been looking for a few weeks now,and ive not even seen or driven one yet.Looking at the IS250s,petrol auto spec,hopefully with park assist,blue and black are the prefered colours,budget is 7k more possibly as I have a part ex,but no rush im sure one will come up.
