Hello I have only just purchased a new is220d and have just discovered the website, what are these meets about and do you have to be into modifying improving your car to enjoy this, i am crap at anything mechanical unfortunately and don't want to appear out of place thanks dave

Hello all Just a short note to say hello as a new member to the lexus world!!!, just purchased a new is220d se and was feeling all happy and enthusiastic but then started seeing some of the posts and reviews of this and my mood is diminishing rapidly. I had the car for 24 hours and it seemed quiet and pokey and spec'd up well compared to my existing audi, yet i read notes about noisy engines and difficult rides etc. and wonder if i made some mistake or my driving abilities are not in tune with some other peoples. Am i making a big mistake ?????? Any comments welcome.
