Thanks for the comments. I have purchase a new Lexus battery as the previous owner had changed it for a non-Lexus one (they obviously also had problems). Let see how I go on a new battery. Watch this space. Steve

I am getting really hacked off with consant battery failure. Tried to start the car this morning after 24 hour not used following a long motorway trip - battery completly flat and would not even work the central locking. My dealer was not interested last time I approached them but am going to try again. Has anyone tried persuing 'fit for purpose' claim is there is clrearly a design fault? Has anyone approached watchdog or something similar - trading standards? Thanks

There is a 60,000 mile limit to the hybrid warranty. I have just bought a 40,000 RX400h - no where near 100k I know but it drives like new.

I have just purchased a used RX400h SE-L which I am delighted with. I bought from a car supermarket and the only problem found so far is missing instructions for the ICE DVD system. I would be very grateful indeed if anyone could let me know where I can get hold of one or download one from. Thanks!
