  1. Hi I have the same problem with my boot, it doesn't move at all when you flip the release (and i haven't even got a spoiler). When you say you sourced the dampers from the States was it through LOC USA or somewhere else. Also what was the cost and how difficult are they to fit? Thanks.
  2. They all do that sir :winky: so does my brothers Soarer, worrying isn't it, I'd prefer to see 1100 rpm on a stone cold engine especially when you put it into gear. Yeah, that's what i was thinking, i've had quite a few auto's before but none of them have reved that high from cold. Oh well at least i know there's nothing wrong! Thanks for the replies guys.
  3. Hi all anyone know what a mk1 GS should rev at from cold? mine is up around 1500 rpm, seems a bit high. Thanks in advance
  4. Hi does anyone know anything about the cell phones fitted to GS300's, ie were they a Lexus option, and if so how do they work!. Any info' gratefully received.
  5. Thanks Stav, first place i thought of as well. Unfortunatley no owners manuals and all the workshop manuals were for 97 onwards. Had the same problem with my last 2 cars (vauxhall omega 2.5, horrible car and before that a ford scorpio cosworth, luxury and power, best car ever until my lexus of course. Guess i'll be using the forums alot till i get to know the car.
  6. Hi Guys first go at this so i hope i do it right! I've just bought my first Lexus a 96 GS 300, unfortunatley it didn't come with an owners manual and there are an awful lot of buttons to discover. Does any one know if it's possible to get one without going to Lexus, that will probably be pricey. Also same question for a workshop manual. Thanks
