hello all there is a noise coming from the rear of my is200 for quite some time but is getting worse im convinced it the back left wheel bearing are these common to go and what or where is the best to get genuine or aftermarket also are they hard to change and isit just a bearing or a complete sealed unit

cheers mate i think the one i have must of had this prob before as its says exchange unit on the bottom of it im not having much luck with sterios as i had bought an aftermarket sterio and after a few months it stopped working lucky enough its still under warenty and i hope to get it back soon the origanal one wasw just keeping me going tho i think it has a better sound than the aftermarket one

hello all have been away in australia for awhile now great time but when i came back to my lexus is 200 it had a flat battrey bummer replaced everything going ok but a few days later when i was changing cds it wouldnt work this had happenedbefore but this time it refuses to work at all keeps coming up err3 on screen can anyone help

i think it could be that the tyres are westlake im gona punt on goodyear eagle f1s and hopefully that will sort my prob if not it sounds like diff trouble hope it isnt

it is like a droneing rombling noise it can only be heard on smooth tar at high speed round 60 70mph checked all bearings again and cant find any play or noise im running out of ideas

it a droning noise seems to get lowder the faster i go and can only be heard on a smooth road but mite check all is ok in the shoes

Have you checked the high level brake light matey as if the bulbs gone in that it will light the warning light on the dash? yeah the high level brake light bulb was gone i changed it and the light goes of but when i press on the brakes it comes on by the way my lexus is the same colour as yours but yours looks better like the pics what make are the wheels and what size are they Still think its one of the bulbs matey? if it was me i'd go through all the rear bulbs 1 by 1 and just do a check as i'm not sure what else it could be apart from the switch under the handbrake itself? You'll have to get some pic's up of your car matey so i can have a look :D The wheels on mine are 17" Allesio sports, brought them brand new with tyres for £599 2 years ago which i thought was a good buy at the time but wish i'd gone for the 18" now :) cheers lads sorted now the prob was i changed it and put in a 12volt 5watt thinking it would do till i got a 12volt 21watt that came out of it but it wouldt work till i put the proper one in think i will submit one of those workshop tips just incase someone else does the same!!!!! will have to get a few tips of my is200 now that its summer but mate its nowhere near as nice as yours its standred but im looking to put a set of wheels on and i think your rite 18s would be the businness

can anyone help me my handbrake light wont go out firstly a brake light bulb was gone i replaced it but when it start the car and press the brake the light comes on so i dont think its the switch and the brake fluid level is ok its doing my head in as the car is due for mot

god them workmen must be very careless!!!!!!!! if it was me id be looking the complete nose done bonnett two wings and front bumper cause if you got the bonnett ans wings done the bumper would look bad with chips and maybe it has the odd scratch

can anyone help i put a request on yesterday because my handbrake light wouldnt go out i was tols to check the brake lights and one bulb was gone. but ive fiited a new bulb and the handbrake light still wont go out any further ideas brake fluid level is ok
