If you want a car that handles nicely dont buy an IS200.

Mine dropped loads aswell since fitted, settled about an extra 20mm all round. Scraping the exhaust off speed bumps and ground out going over uneven roads. Was going to go raise it and get the suspension geometry sorted, but it looks so f*kin cool uber low and with loads of camber

Loads of fantastic staggered fitment wheels available for the GS. Struggled to find some for my IS with it needing a higher offset but got there in the end, just have a shop around. Buy cheap - buy twice.

The front wheels sit perfect, bit of a spacer on the back and it'll have great stance.

If you dont look after diamond cut alloys of course there going to flake! I'm sick of the motoring press going on and on about this. Its the same with TT wheels and a few other cars.

But yeah I agree that the front bumper does really attract stoen chips, the black paint on the door pillars on my silver car is very badly scratched, a whoel car that colour must be a total nightmare!

1. Yes, but depending on width they'd probably look daft.

2. Again yes, but depending on widths, guessing the Civic wheels have smaller tyres again because there less wide? So would look double daft.

No knocking at all, I dont see where this would come from if everything is tight? The kit doesnt come with pillowball top mounts just replacement original ones.

Finished fitting them today, absolutely chuffed. Ride quality is excellent, better than stock!

Just going to have a play around and see what works, probably try softest damping possible for comfort, and set the ride height pretty low so the tyres are just inside the arches.

Half way through fitting mine, very impressed with the build quality. Excellent value for the price.

Will get a little review up once I've finished fitting them.

Done some research on some of the Nissan forums and deciding not to go excessive stretch.

Think I'm going for

215/40/18 front (same as Ormi)

235/40/18 rear

Same as above, about the rear arches, put sure I'll proved wrong once its painted, Keep us up to date

May have to be purchased. I hate Jap tuner mags, but it should be worth it just for that Lex.

I might even cut and reprofile them if it takes my fancy, its no big deal.

The ET on the rear wheel is 40, which I know is about 10mm more than it should be. So a slight strecth on the tyre, bit of camber and a slight flare on the arch should be fine (I hope)

Didnt think 225/35/18 is excessive stretch on a 9" wide rear. I've stetched way further than that lol. My mate has a Corrado and he has 9x16's all round and runs 195/40/16's! Probably go for a 205/35/18 front.

225/35/18 on a 9" rim.

205/35/18 on a 8" rim

About to purchase a new set of wheels, unforthunately they'll not be here until July as there coming from Japan.

The fronts are 8" wide and rears 9" wide. I'm just wondering what brand/size tyres you lot would reccommend? Obviously I'll need something decent in the wet running a 9" rear on a heavy RWD car like my IS200.

Size wise I was thing about going for 215-35-18 front and 225-35-18 rear to help arch clearance?

Just do it yourself. Rub it back, file down the high spots, bit of chemical metal in the low spots, contact the wheel manufacturer and get a paint code and touch it up. After its touched up flat it back with some 3000 grit detailing paper then repolish the whole wheel. Easy peasy, cost no more than a tenner. I cant see the point in paying hundreds to make it perfect again, its only going to get kerbed again.

The only stuff I've ever found that cleans and degreases a Windscreen really well is the light abrasive that you get in a Frosts Windscreen Scratch Repair Kit.

They are exactly the same coilover made in the same factory, just marketed differently.

Whats included? Justs seats and middle sections of the door cards? Or is the headliner, pillars etc included too?

Is it real leather or vinyl?

Can Blue Flame do custom tail pipe styles? I hate big exhausts.

Have just ordered them too (ProLex changed to these in the KSport group buy as they are the same but had less lead in time)
