OK bit of help here, just got my 2003 IS200 LE and covered about 800 miles, mostly motorway and to get a good view on fuel economy I have stuck roughly to the speed limit.
But now the front grille looks like I've taken a shot gun to it. Not helped by the fact that under the metallic black paint of the grille is what looks like shiny silver chrome which picks out the stone chips beautifully in the sunlight.
I'm thinking of gettng chips away in the touch it up but given that it as reached this state in just a couple of weeks, is this a waste of time?
Is it just me or does the IS200 have a stone magnet built in?
Is there another solution? has anyone developed a replacement grille that you have seen or used that is a bit more chip resistant?
Many thanks
