Many thanks for your input. Steve why dont you get the poly bushes [ www.daizensporttuning.com] from the states, and rebush the arms that you have. It cost just over £80 in sterling 160 us dollers shipped and arrived in 3 days. then you will have bushes that will out last the car.

    Mine is a 1992 1st gen 400 and has got 129,700 miles and going sweet as a nut, although i have just ordered a rad for it as i have small leak at the bottom.

    H i guys and girls i have a series 2 ls400 on a 93 plate, and in the recent deluge of wet stuff i have noticed that the drivers side footwell is wet and appears to be wet up the carpet trim below the dash panal on the A piller, is this a known problem area due to blocked scuttle drain and is the drain on the drivers side. Does this require the removal of the wheel arch liner to clear as i cannot see the drain from above. Look forward to a speedy reply as i may need flippers to drive it soon.

    Hi there i have a 93 ls400 and the drivers seat back does not recline on both sides and twists. anyone had this problem and how easy is it to fix, Thanks in advance.

    Ok that scuppers that plan then, is there an adaptor cable available to link the head unit to a different type of changer. anyone else up graded the changer but retained the original head. and how did you do it????????

    Can any one tell me if the lead that connects the head unit to the cd changer is a std pioneer p series connector or a lexus special connection. I ask this as i am thinking about changing the cd changer to a 12 disc set up and mounting under the rear shelf. the head unit says that it is a pioneer head unit.

    Hey guy and girls, can anyone enlighten me to the position of the fuse for the rear fog lamps as i have not got fogs at the rear, the fuse marked fog under the dash near the A piller is ok and checked, and have replaced the bulbs in the cluster without sucesss, any ideas you all, just to add the front work all ok, regards Gary.

    A big thanks must go to chris vince for the fantastic repair that he made to my ls400 dash today, and happy to reccomend him to anyone who has the failed capacitors and burnt out needles, i was treated like a member of the family by him and his better half and can say that was the best cash spent on the car to date. lol i have only had it 5 days. Best wishes to you both, and hope to meet again soon. Gary.

    [ Thanks steve, i hope to get to meet up with some new faces soon as this is my first few days of ls 400 ownership and the car seems a bit daunting at first , but i guess that wil pass. I am also a member of the omega owners club and met a few on there, and you lot on here seem as freindly as the omega guys. look forward to meeting soon

    Hi there, i checked the fuse that you reccomended and indeed it had blown, replaced the fuse and all was well untill the dash failed to light, after about 15/20 min the dash flickered into life again and the panal lights came on at the same time so i guess that i wil need to get that dash down to hampshire asap. Thanks for the heads up on that one. There seems to be a number of electrical gremlins that i keep finding and will find the answers on here. Thanks again. Gary.

    Please can anyone tell me if the dash problems will cause all the radio illumination and switches on the centre panal on a series 2 ls400 to not light up, this also includes the gear selector lamps as well. This is my first lexus and and need some help.

    Hi there, this my first post on here and have taken ownership of a 93 ls400 and has the dash problem that you describe, my question is does this dash failure also cause the main centre console and radio lights and associated switches to go out as well?
