So it looks like I need a new amp or mine repairing ! Is it easy to remove ? Will the standard poineer one be compatible as on eBay they are £200 cheaper ?

My stereo has stopped working ,, comes up on screen , but no sound . When I press sound the balance etc comes up , but won't change anything and bot tons are blue when I think should be yellow ?

Dunno how I did it twice lol No , the battery hasn't been disconnected

Warning light has come up on my dash . Info says check vsc Traction control off light is also on. Handbook says fine to drive but obv the traction control ain't working . Any ideas of anything for me to check ,, before I take it into garage ?

That an expensive repair ?

On my 2004 LS430 I have noticed today that there seems to be a slight difference in the gap from top of tyre to wheel arch on rear , near side gap approx 1.5 inch , off side 3 inch. No noises etc , no wobbly or bouncy rear end , car runs perfectly and feels as it should , is this difference in height a major worry ? Any help and advice will be v welcome . Thanks in advance Paul

The breakdown cover is excellent ,,, saved me £465 on repairs to my cl500And saved the mrs £320 on repairs to her 3 series

My insurance company is lynbrook insurance services ,,, very good company My LS430 costs me £445 per year , fully comp , with mrs on it . Best quote I had on the compare sites was £870 due to 3 points and the fact that I've had two accidents one was my fault ! Give them a try

No need to be sorry, we feel for all those that don't or cant drive their beautiful LS's everyday.I look at it everyday tho ,, I only generally cover approx 6,000 miles in car per year

745i ,,,,,, I was looking at a 745li or LS430 but it had oil leak so opted for the Lexus My aim is to get a 760li within 12 months ,,, I have friends that have his n hers 760li's think they are both 05 reg Lovely cars

So what cars did we have before we settled on a Lexus ? A few of my previous 2002 Mondeo tdci , , got bored 1990 BMW 750il , , 68k miles , looked like new but I wrote it off 1996 LS400 , , stop gap cheapie 1998 jag xj8 4.0 , , great car ! 1998 BMW 750il individual , , amazing very rare car , minter , lost £400 in 3 yrs ,,, shouldn't av got rid !! 2000 merc CL500 , , worst , most unreliable car ever ! Love the look and drive etc , but a money pit !! Current car ..... 2004 LS430 ,,,,, very happy with it !

This is a policy I added onto my AA membership 6 yrs ago About £8 per month per car Pays out upto £500 per claim for parts and labour Pay for 2 vehicles , get a third free ! We have my car , the mrs's 3 series and my van on it Recently her car broke down ,, £800 repair bill .... AA sent cheque for £465.00 ( £35.00 excess) My CL 500 had a £493.00 bill ,, AA sent cheque for £458 In the past they have even paid for a new battery inc fitting ! Batt was £140.00 on my 7 series ! Must go to a vat registered garage This is a great policy in my opinion ,,, we have had over £2,300 back in the last 2 years !

At the risk of seeming a bit dim ,,,, what do the rear seat buttons ( situated on door card ) actually do ? Set M C Not tried them yet , I'm still fathoming out the front controls lol

As some of you may know , I had a 1996 LS400 great car Changed it for a 1998 jag xj8 4.0 great car Then a bmw 750il individual amazing car !! Then merc CL500 ,,,, worst car I ever owned ,,,, more breakdowns than I thought possible !, Now I've come back to Lexus Ahhhhh relax ,,,,, what was I ever thinking ( apart from the 750il ) Picked the LS up on Thursday ,,,, covered 350 miles , It amazes me !!! How can a car be so silent ? How can a car be so comfy ? How can a car have so many features / extras for so little money ? How can a car that cost me £4,100 get all these admiring looks ? How can a car make me want to look at it thru window of my house as much as I do ? Answers to all the above have one answer ,,,,,,,,,, it's a Lexus LS430 ! As you may guess ,,,,,,I'm absolutely over the moon with my car !

Got it ! Lovely drive ,, may take me a while to get used to reverse camera , and the gadgets etc, And a while to get used to the fact that it is actually ticking over !! Deffo need new mats , drivers side v mucky n worn .... Lots on evil bay ,,,,, but I want genuine lexus ones , wonder how much ££ ?

Hi all , sold my Lexus LS400 1998 good few yrs ago , since then I've had Jag xj8 4.0 no problems at all BMW 750il individual £700 of repairs in 3 yr of ownership Merc CL500 currently on eBay , nothing but trouble ! Over £1,700 in repairs in 4,000 miles Car only has 74,000 on it ! Been looking at jag xj8 , Audi A8, BMW 745li and LS430 My question is after reading on here about LS430 , are they any more reliable than the cars listed above ? Currently looking at a silver one , black leather, 99,000 miles up for £3,450.00
