nah.. wrong price.. that spoiler is about £99.00, cos i remember ordering one from lexus leeds a while back, but instead got the one i got now at a dearer price..
that one is just a thin piece of strip, the other ones that come on the sport are more expensive.. (there are about 3 to 4 different spoilers for the IS)

how come that when something like this happens and when you go to the place to ask... "Sorry he doesn't work here no more" i think it's aload of bull...
anyway, hope you get it sorted out, as it will an expensive belt change if owt goes wrong with your belt...lol
-
who and where did you get it done from Marcus?
-
mine does this sometimes too, but only now and then...
i also hav coins in the centre pocket up front (will remov'em ) but i also park straight underneath a street lamp, do you think that this will trigger the alarm in anyway?
(read a post a while back someone mentioned something about street lamps sending the alarm blarring out)

yep its the sensor that is broken, the garage that lowered the first time round, broke the drivers side sensor, they bought me a replacement next day for £70, and fitted, the light was still on, RESET the ECU, drove round block, the light cleared itself out, after pressing the break pedal a few times...

Chris...
That Air Scoop is fitted too high up! needs to be lower so that the air hole is facing the filter.. (think there was another member who did the same)
The scoop should be fitted so that it covers the top part of the radiator, so the bolt on the right will fit straight in to the original hole and on the left you'll notice the extra hole i drilled through, just use a cable tie and secure it to the clip that locks on to the radiator, that way the air flow will point directly to the filter..
-
i too have the IS300 air scoop, but what i have planned for it is a bit :winky: haven't fitted it yet tho, does it make much difference to the air feed then?
Stu
yes if positioned correctly so the hole where the air comes out from is pointing towards the air filter cone :winky:

Excellent Chris.. glad your happy with it ;) just to let you know i didn't recieve a short pipe with the kit??? me and scoprion fitted mine and had to cut the existing pipe..
You got it at a bargain price with the IS300 Scoop... have you fitted that aswell?

Doesn't look too bad with the colour scheme..

The lileage is 90,000.
The belt has been changed but it's still at the garage as the mechanic doesn't know what caused it.
My worry is it may happen again and very quickly.
Any thoughts
Mine was the same, but only a quarter of it tho, had mine changed at 98K, and apperantly another member who had his changed think it was around 80someting and same problem on his belt, wonder what can cause this to happen??

theres loads of bodykits alloys etc all displayed in the window, pretty big aswell, wonder if it's got anything to do with the shop in Manchester tho.. <_<

Imi, went to that fellas today , found fault hopefully, to a wire that was bare in steering console, said fuse blew for hazzards when ignition was off, and steering wheel was retracting,(went through 6x20 amp fuses and 2x10 amp) fixed that but needed a new indicator relay, bought one of them for THREE QUID !!!, there a standard toyota relay, apprantly every toyota is the same , near enough:)
so now i got hazzards and indicators, so far happy bunny
Steve

It's stuck with a doubled sided flex thingy, once it's off it won't stick back on! problem is that the sticky thing only comes as acomplete kit when ordering the bodykit from dealers..
Unless you got to the local DIY store and pick up something similar, i think another member did this..
