Sos ain't much help, i'm sure others can help a bit more..

cool steve, yeh it's a regular thing, every sunday, but it does depend on the weather, if it's a sunny day then more turn out in the evenings, even if it's rained during the day, as long as it's not raining in the evening then it still on, as for the time, cars start coming in around 7.30pm, stay till about 10 or 11..
April will just be getting the cruises started so it'll be perfect timing then..
Get me boot layout finished off next Weds and the system all tuned up properly.. (hopefully before the Windemere Meet)

got a few pics, just trying to get'em up loaded..
Steve, yeh sort it out, come down then at least i won't be the only one with a lex there..
That Nizmo Skyline is one heavy machine, he did 8 doughnuts spins while he had 3 lads sat in the back, he had one headlamp in and ther other was converted as an Air Scoop..
Week before last an Skyline R34 came down, white with wide arch kit on Volk Wheels on, that was kicking serious power, just the rummmmble of the exhaust shook the ground :o :o

Don't know if any of you guys & girls been to Retail Park located in Wakefield town centre or not, but anyway..
Polished n waxed the car midday (after 9 months of neglect ) used Meguiars Nxt, was impressed with the results, went down to the retail park, it's a BIG car park, how many cars turn out? well a little over 200 cars there.. all makes n models, from 3 wheelers to maxed out 900bhp Nizmo Skyliner, Evo's, Imprezas only saw one other IS200 silver it was? (anyone from here?)
I parked mine on the footpath entrance outside of Currys, opened me boot lid, got me headrest screens on and let the music speak :winky: before you know everyone came round checked my car out, took pics, and made movies on their mobile phones, asking question how n what etc..
I just stood back n watched everyone with big grin on my face, :D knew money was well spent! as well as the back breaking polish job B)
it was a top night, the police turn up, but just park up n keep an eye out, as long as nobody does anything stupid they don't interfere
If the weather holds up for next sunday and any of you lot want to come down and have chit chat, show off them superchargers (hint hint) then make your way down.
I'll be there, and just in case you do decide just head for the big crowd, that'll be me attracting'em

Sorry to hear about the car Ally, hope the insurance sort it out for you!!
I have installed the Clifford Concpet 600 in my car, had it done when the car jackings first came on the scene, it's agood feature, even tho if someone my car keys, they won't get far in the car, it'll start they move off, after 30 secs if the security code is not entered, the car will slolwy come to a stop n alarm will start blaring out!! and you will not be able to start the car untill the right code is entered!!
Will let you know i do slepp very well on a night.. lol -_- -_-

Windemere is well signposted from the M6 to attract busloads of pensioners, and when you get there it isn't a huge place.

Yep just hope it's sunny n we get our "Freak On" :zee: with tha Ladiez..

Imi, I had my timing belt changed just before 100k and it was also worn down one side. The cause was the bearings in the tensioner pulley were worn causing it to wobble very slightly. Get him to check this out. I think this is quite common for the tensioner pulley bearings to go about the 100k mark
Thanks Jim, yep he checked all pulleys n bearings etc.. and was told everything is spot on! bit weird about the belt though!!
-
ye he is.. pm'ed you..
-
How much did it cost to get your timing belt changed?
well i didn't go to get it done from the dealers, my mate did the change for me..
Timing Belt (rest of belts are fine), Gearbox Oil, Engine Oil, change the engine coolant, Take off the front n rear anti roll bars, regrease and re-fit, check ball joints, check coilovers, check brakes.. £130.00 he supplied engine oil (duckamhs full syn) n gear box oil, i got the timing belt and oil filter from dealers, (engine coolant was free from due to them supplying the wrong timing belt!!) delares quote was trebble the price!
I would rather get my car serviced from this guy more than dealers after the last service i had from the dealers :tsktsk: ..
-
UPDATE:- Timing Belt and rest of the service parts also been changed..
A word of notice tho!! The millage on my car is 98K and the timing belt is to be changed on 100K am i right? meaningi still had a 1k to go.. anyway the mechanic took the belt off only to re-lize it had several grazes down one side of the belt checked everything else just incase it caught on a panel etc, but no marks anywhere.. Rang me up and told me the score!!
SO basically i was lucky to get it changed before it snapped!! and :tsktsk: up!!
i am sure another members car had theirs changed before the 100K mark with similar damage to their timing belt..
Cars nice n quiet again, had the gear oil changed too, so gear changes are smooth for now
-
Damn!! sorry to hear about what's happend..
Police + Doughnuts = say no more!!
-
My timing belt is due for a change, will be getting it done a week on Sat, just a few question, apart from the timing belt :-
1: Is there any other belts that need changing?
2: What other things need changing on this service?
(Spark Plugs done on last service)
3:I am having the service done by my mate, he's done all the work on my car up to now and has changed the timing belt on a GS300 before, but not an IS, (Scorpion knows him)
It's just Dealer's are charging an ARM & a LEG for this.
Any help be appreciated.. thank you :winky:
