Can anyone help me out with my clutch worries :duh:
My car has only got 37,000 miles on it but the clutch has given me cause for concern a couple of times. It occasionally feels like it is slipping, generally good most of the time but every now and then..........the times this has happened has been when pulling away very aggresively, not in normal use.
1 - Surely a clutch should last much longer than this as most of the miles are motorway.
2 - How much would a new one fitted by dealer cost me,
3 - How much to just buy a new clutch to do it myself,
Cheers :)

Mine does this which is normall on a rear wheel drive and I think probably more noticable on the IS200 cos it is generally so smooth. Seems more noticable in 6th gear.

"Yes, this has been done deliberately. This way, the boot is still shielded from rain when it opens, and you can open it the rest of the way if you need to. It's easy to adjust if you want"
Mine opens all the way with a bouncy up and down motion when it gets to the fully open position, except when it sticks to the rubber seals.

I think its important to remember that you are not allowed to repair a puncture in a Z rated (or above) tyre anyway. There are reasons for this.
Since when I have had numerous repairs in Z rated tyres over the years with no probs, (limit is two repairs per tyre within a defined area though)
Only thing is that a lot of tyre places won't repair tyres with the gunk in it (nor tyre weld)
