    Front Tyres

I got 28K out of my rears and the fronts still had plenty of life left, except the insides which had worn so had to be changed as well.
  3. Any chance one of his first roles of customer liason can be to give us the low down on all the issues we seem to have with Lexus and seem to get no joy with - i.e Alloy Wheel corrosion, ERR03 warranty, brake caliper corrosion, dodgy paint etc...
  4. Nothing wrong with diesels, just try the 150BHP Deisel Golf and it will change your mind about them. BMW - German Cortinas/Focus with the top of the range ones bringing the exclusivity feeling Lexus - Exclusive but too new to outgrow the "Posh Toyota" badge it gets labled with.
  5. Can you post a picture or post a link to your site where this is listed/displayed I'm looking for one but need to see before I buy
  6. Sounds very technical for just a piece of plastic Especially when i've got Metallica playing So, i simply pull the existing CD out and stick in a new head unit and one of these DIN things and away I go........what about the duel speakers at the rear, how are these connected sothey sound OK........Is there a good thread on here that explains all
  7. I am considering changing my CD unit for an after market system and keep seeing the reference to "Single DIN" and "Double DIN" but don't know what they mean, Can anyone explain please. Also has anyone got a picture of an aftermarket system fitted with one of the shop bought dash kits. cheers
  8. ADVANCE - have you seen stickers on sliver calipers, would black or white be best? The car is Granite.
  9. Thanks for your replies, I think red looks good on a moded car but I have a standard one and it may be OTT for the look i want, yellow also looks good but not as much as the red. Black would be OK with a Black car but i'm not sure about Granite Sky, unless anyone has a picture to show off. Silver with black stickers is what i'm thinking at the moment, Can anyone see a problem with re painting if they look sh*t.
  10. Probably the same person who put the middle lane drivers in charge of the middle lane, and the driver who stays in the outside lane doing 70, because it is the speed limit and you shouldn't be overtaking them.
  11. I have seen a couple of times now where the outside lane closes and merges, the car/van in the lane that is closing, stay in the outside lane and slow down to the speed of the middle lane, at the point where the signs say lanes closes in xx yards, including just stopping and waiting, and not letting anyone past. Quite amusing to watch but it takes some bottle to do it, I like the Zip merging idea and it should be accepted and publicised by highway code,
  12. I'm thinking gold or silver or black Gold - Too flash maybe Silver - Same colour as wheels and may loose definition Black - Not very visible what looks best, i am looking for refined good looks rather than flash boy racer.
  13. It sounds just like the waitress call signal on an airplane, reminds me of nice holidays B)
  14. Same as Others, the roof doesn't make any noticable noise but the tyres are noisy cos of the profile, :)
