i did mine myself ,someone had them powdercoated and they looked w**k. used nitromoors but it took 3hrs a wheel to get to bare ally,took them to work and sprayed them using a good etch primer a bright sparkle silver then 4 coats of 2pack laquer.That was9 months ago and not a blemish anywhere. they put my brother-in-laws standard ones to shame,he wants his doing now.give it a go and good luck!!!

could any one tell me how to replace the rear pads on the is200 had a go the other day but the retaining pins didnt want to tap all the way out of callipar. any help needed urgently as its nearly metal to metal cheers!!!

painted my rear bumper myself using spies hecker waterbase paint ,colour was royal sapphire and was a perfect match

last december i paid £435 to have my cd repaired because i had just gone over 60,000 miles .since finding out lexus had extended warranty to4 yrs i called customer services and complained.they called my dealer for me and hey presto a cheque was posted to me today for the full amount.thought i`d let you all know this as some people seem unsure if there stereos are covered or not good luck. :)

december 02 i had cd player repaired (error3) ,say no more. my local lex dealer sent the unit away,it took 3 weeks to do.1 week later the same thing happened again,so took it back,about 4 days later they rang and said it had been tested and nothing was wrong with it.touch wood its been fine since.problem is i saw a thread on this site saying that the warranty on cd players had been extended to 4yrs. they charged me £439 for the repair and give 2 month guarantee,i feel RIIIIIIPPED OFF!!!!! cars a2000 vreg can anyone help

most car plastics,i.e bumpers,spoilers,etc are sprayed seperatly and usually somewhere else .Being a paint sprayer for 17 years i have noticed this on brand new cars of all makes .relaquering is the best sollution, i have !!! ;)

anyone experienced slight knocking sound from front end when going over speed bumps,manholes,or uneven road surfaces.
