Noticed this, and had a quick read, the water in the boot thing i have the same problem, bit concerned that there main remedy though is to drill a hole, there has got to be a better way ?

Basically looking for new or lightly used suspension for a IS200 needing everything the 4x strutd and springs, Standard, Sport or after market coilovers etc, dosn't really matter have a leaky shockr onfront and 1 on rear so unfortunate that al 4 need replaced :( Thanks

And is the standard lexus sat nav actually any good, i use a tom tom currently but always fancied one of these. my car is a standard IS200 02 plate, from memory i know the cables are there from when i installed my DVD player is it a simple case of plug, earth it and off you go ?

I got mine from the same place on ebay worked out at the time around £30 for all 4, very easy to stick on and hold very well, decent quality as well does make a difference to the car in my opnion, postage was fast as well for America i had them in 9 days

Well nearly had this two year now and never posted a pic, basically a standard IS200 (Arnold Clark shafted me claiming it was a sport, big topic on that at the time lol). Done a couple things since Added a Sport Spoiler with brake light(not in pic) The alloys Calipers painted red Tints Sport Grill 8000K Hids Wind Deflectors (Not in pic) chrome speedo Design and clock surround(From here) Chrome heater rings(From here) Strut lexus covers and radiator panal (From here again lol) Got a rear bumper with splitter (Not sure if its TTE or what - only got it as idiots in tesco decide bashing my car with there towbar is ok)) it is genuine though just needs resprayed Rear view camera and Freeview box(already installed my pioneer touchscreen) couple things though i'm wanting some sort of front splitters and perhaps side skirts anyone got an idea where is a good place ? Also the horns look out of place behind the sport grill i've seen the guide to mocing them but was considering painting them black or red (Think this would be daft ?) I've got the Lexus caliper stickers but they never stay on any ideas how to get them to stay on more than a week !? I have a few swirl marks, very light but i've tried everything, by that i eman around 8 different polishes and swirl removers, although they do do the job to some extent there still visible any sugestions to fixing this ? The front headlights is there anyway to buy ready painted black set's im abit scared to put them in the oven and try taking them apart as well, seeing as ive kept the car red and black it would be nice to do that too last but not least ive noticed the black on my mirrors fading a dull colour anyway to restore that without back to black, that and my actuall mirrors and door handles laquer is peeling, looks horrible and only seems to be effecting these areas. I was thinking if i sourced Skirts, Splitters etc i was going to go for a full respray eventually as it seems the most cost effective way ? not the best of pics the street lights make it look orangey lol

are they road legal ? im sure i heard before that any lights ordered from China/America etc lack certain bulbs to be road legal here ? I'm interested just need some clarification :D

you stated what was wrong with it, its like buying anything second hand there is no receipt or garentee, basically i'd personally go tell them to go f**k themselfs, no matter what threat they use there is absolutly nothing they can do, ebay wont be interested, paypal wont be interested, i very much doubt small claims court would be interested, and even then it's a farce, you dont turn up nothing happens basically and it costs more money than they will be claiming for, which means basically it isnt a option anyway Change your number or tell them your not interested and to have a merry christmas, tell them to buy a cheap mower with the scrap value cash :D

Just a small update: Brake pads replaced, car hasnt cut out since, runnin like a dream (must have been the service/fuel addictive and engine flush that casued the burning smell as theres no sign of it. Second inspection on Shockers etc all fine no sweating apparently, the clunking noise was due to ball joints or bearings (not sure what one it was) needing regreased cost me £20, cars noise free now was told theres no play in ball joints or wear. so all in all some decent news ! Indi Garage, same garage ive used for 4 year though, did my water pump and last two services without a problem. I'm with the full cover with AA ive been told to requuest a inspection any problems with it i take it to a Vat registered garage and they pay the costs, im going to give that a try, can a service cause all those problems though !?
