  1. I have been told that there is going to be a new Diesel, to compete on the Fleet market, a new convertable, a new Hybrid engine, and a 4.3 Ltr V8. To top that all off, yes there is a face lift, early in 2005!! Or am I going over old ground here??
  2. Look guy's, the best place to get a Car-Kit for any manufacturer is Security World, speak to Liz and she will be able to advise what's best. I've just had a kit fitted for a Nokia 6310i, hard wired as they say, which automatically mutes the Lexus stereo, but you adjust the volume through the phone and not the stereo. Up until now they had problems with feedback, but it works a treat. They use their own looms, they have a guy that has been in the industry since year dot, and designed these these leads especially for all Lexus models. They don't recommend the Bluetooth kits though as they are a bit tetchy, stick to the the Bluetooth headsets, I have one too, and they work perfectly. They will come to you and fit too. Cheers........Sharaz
  3. I have the same problem, car is due for a service very soon, apart form the corroding alloys (dont go there <_< ) the front does knock, and I beleive it is either the calipers, or even the brake pads p*****g in the wind!! Will be making sure all of the above problems are done under warranty
  4. I know its a bit late in the day, but................ Likes: It looks good, better than the majority of its competitors It is very well spec'd, better than the majority of its competitors Fanatstic security, (Whar Car rated the complete Lexus range)better than the ALL of its competitors Wheels, apart from the corrosion, sometimes!better'ish than the majority of its competitors (they look good) Cool Dashboard, better than the majority of its competitors Great to drive, better than the majority of its competitors Nice Leather Interior/Seats Cool Stereo Dislikes: Not enough oomph at low end of the rev counter No on board computer, and absolute must! No memory on the seats....try adjusting the seats when you hit the motorway and want to floor it and relax! Imagine what it's like when you come of the M1 and are hitting the A5, try and adjust the seats from a motorway position...sorry rambling. Gearbox and bit doge Needs folding rear seats cause boot is a tad tinky! Otherwise, best car I've had to date
  5. That'll be cool if you could post the pics, be interesting to see how you did it, and if you don't mind I may even utilise you inginuity (is that how you spell it??) and design, and try it myself!
  6. Cheers everyone...... AqualBraith, could I asko which company you used, I will be getting the Dashmount kits, and possibly the Nokia Bluetooth Kit, but finding someone who is willing to do the modifications on the relay's can be difficult. Cheers Sharaz
  7. Change gears @ 4,500rpm and see what happens.... a lot smoother. It is a bit clunky in low gears and at lower revs.....or maybe I'm a crap driver as well.
  8. Anyone know of where, who, whenhow I can get some mute leads for the IS200 stereo, to allow me to patch my mobile phone car kit through the stereo speakers via the amp. I cant beleive that the IS200 is the only car on the market that won't allow you to patch through the stereo. I really don't want an ugly sounding speaker mounted in the car. I have tried DASHMOUNT/DASHLEADS etc.... with no luck. Sharaz
