supagaurd wheels is quite good, i'm unsure on the durability of such protectors tho, best to just wash the wheels every week or few days.

working out what fits quite mathematical, its affected by the width of the tyre fitted and the offset of the wheels.

Hello chaps and chapesses,

Following on from this and this thread. I've decided to get Lexi Lou enhanced with twins.

The specification that Blueflame had to work with twins which would be quiet as possible, extract as much power as possible and keep the classy OEM tuned look.

Heres the results

and front/side pic too for the sake of it.

There was an initial problem with sealant being wet on delivery, this dried out after a little while.

The zorst has covered 200 miles and it seems that

its a bit louder on idle,

its pretty loud (boomy roar) between 1.5-3k

beyond not very loud and sometimes getting some popping/firing noises.

MPG seems to have increased from 24-26 to 28-30

Will give a full review in a few months once some more mileage has been covered.

Will be getting the boot fitted with the dynamat xtreme trunk kit.

Vision Performance was the eBay shop i got mine from. all good so far ;)

I doubt we will see the figures of the R34 and MKIV Supe!! I've head mines have cracked the ECU tho.

This car is everything I wanted toyota to make (new supra?!), knew it would be amazing since reading about last september, Italian/German supercar eater, sub 4sec 0-60, 4WD, F1 gears, amazing interior/exterior, no need for any more tuning, saw initial projected price of £75k, thought it was a bargin at that price!! Unless the Toyota FT-HS is delivered to spec, a 5-10year old one of these is at the top of my list.

I'm unsure what the LFA will be like, but will be getting as soon as becomes affordable due to brand loyalty and that it shares mine and my wifes initials.

Finally cant compare the IS-F/M3 to the GTR, the GTR IS A supercar, the others are supersaloons/coups. I do like the IS-F and have wished for lexus to make one for years, but I wouldnt spend my hard earned cash on it, possibly a coupe version.

Another tip is to lift the pipe once you have finished filling you will be suprised how much is left in the pipe and goes back in to the forecourt.

Cross off the GTO, they weigh nearly 2 tonnes and arent that fast at all.

282 bhp 5.7 seconds and 155 top end, thats not fast?

Thats the top spec one.. which for £2k would be an absolute smokin' rotter.

Those figures are largely missleading. Yes of course its a fast car, its a 3.0 twin turbo! but its quick to 60 cuz its 4wd, and its sheer power gives it good top end as its weight is less of a penalty. But read between those figures, and ook at the power to weight, 280 brake, 1900 kg thats about 150bhp/tonne, even my Wifes fiesta St isnt far behind that! Where it really counts (accelerating, ovetaking power etc) it fulls flat on its lardy arse. A standard redtop nova gives close on 200/tonne, 0-60 in about 6-6.5 (highly driver pependent) and top end of 140 (will bounce of the the rev limiter in 5th). Sit at 60mph on the m/way it will also give you 40mpg!

Loggy your figures are misleading, the gto was between 1400-1730kg!! the top spec was 315bhp!! so that give est 0-60 of (1730/315) of 5.5secs, and your right the 4wd drive helps put the power down better. I doubt your wifes fiesta does 0-60 in 6 secs??

Ive played LFS quite a bit, pretty good game, the phyics are ok some are a little extreme but it probably one of the best out there for realism. I really want to get the G25 but feel i'll spend to much time on it and my car wont get done, so trying to concentrate on going racing for real :)

I dont think youve really had a go on LFs until u use a full wheel, G25 is only £150 these days;)

Its all poli-tricks of the "west". The technology has long existed to make this viable, the diesel engine was originally designed to run on peanut oil but the US government destroyed the plans and paid the inventors off. Biofuels is now been branded as un-eco friendly before its even taken off.

I was thinking of buying 11 arces and growing my own fuel (more BHP as well), 2'000 litres tax free for each member of the family, and stick two fingers up at them.

Have you still got the angled exit zorsts? I'm pretty sure you will lose a lot of chassis strength from getting rid of 1/2 of your spare wheel well.

as long as these are just as good as standard discs then il be happy. as i say there more for looks.

The OEM setup is excellent and more than adequate, its used on the GS300 for sure, and 430 I think. Its definitely for looks, Stavs supra (4 pot) front set up didnt make much difference, even tho they has been rated as one of the best brakes of all time e.g against ferrari, porchse etc

bloody hell, and i thought 280 was a good price!!
