No, it's a advance model 2013, 20.5k, I think the 2014 advance is approx 24k non metallic, the one they are offering is mercury grey metallic. Just can't decide what to do, going to go and have a look see what happens

Hi All Need some help, used to have a Is250, then went to a prius spirit for the last 3 years. Was looking to go for a ct200h, as miss the Lexus. Just been offered a good deal on a brand new one, advance 2013 model, I gather they are clearing out last few stocks got something like 3000 off the list price. Still deciding what to do, our concerns, anybody else move from prius to ct200h, any regrets, and last of all boot space ??and can 2 teenagers sit Ok in the back??, would it be better to get a 2014 model I know they have taken some extras away and added new ones right. Decisions decisions??

Hi I have just noticed , my drivers side headlight main beam has stopped working, I have 07 plate 400h and have been quoted 230 to replace the bulb, app the bulb alone costs 140 pounds. Any ideas, can I buy the bulb from elsewhere and is it easy to replace?, do you know where I could find the instructions to do it myself. App it is ssome hid bulb, any help appreciated? Thanks

This company called carwarranty, you will see them on admiral car insurance site rang me and offers the luxury care cover, for 365 to start in Jan 2011, migh take them up on it, paid the 20 to hold it for me, looks ok, it covers for labour and parts at the Lexus franchised dealers :), just in case something major breaks, it doesn't cover the usual wear and tear items , have a look, if anyone else had had experience with th, please share. Hi I have managed to loose the master key, and the Lexus dealer is saying it will cost you £1000 as they can't program another key without the master, I have the valet key. Has anyone else ever lost the master key and what did you do :(

I'm planning to installl some dvd headrests into the rx, I can get the wire to the bottom of the seat, I'm wondering where to take it next I need to take it to the cigerette lighter, there's one in the front and one in the boot, does anyone one know which one would be easier to get the wire to hidden, ideally some one who has taken there rx apart would be great for some guidance, also does anyone know how the back of the seats are clicked in??Thanks

Well, where do I start, I originally has an IS250, and like all rear wheel drive car's it was hell in snow, I had the same problem last year, and when it snowed just before christmas, it was the last straw, I live on a slight incline I couldn't even get the car out and it just wasnt me, a BMW and a Mercedes couldn't get out. So on christmas eve I picked up an RX400h. After having the IS250 and a few scary moments I had it with it, I lost all confidence in driving in snow. So when it snowed last week, I looked outside and there was a bout 8 - 10 inches of snow, normally I would clear my drive and hald the road, I just sat in the car and drove, the neighbours were looking at me, thinking I was mad, It was amazing, I had no problem, It was that good, I will stick to the RX for the rest of my life, It is so amazing the car knows when to use 4 wheels, I can see it on the monitor when it is using all 4 wheels,, It just knows. Love it , Love it.

Ive just noticed, I think I have an intermittent problem with the windows, sometimes my windows cant be controlled with any of the buttons and none of the buttons on the drivers door work, then sometimes very rarely they work, that included the locking of the doors from the drivers door.?? Is there a know faulty wiring with these. Car still under warranty, so I am going to book it in to get sorted?? Otherwise brill.

Hi phil, I recently purchased one :), I can't thank the dealership and sales man they were brilliant, they gave the car a full 40k service and it was immaculate, ver happy with it, even when I went to pick it up, they ring me to check how I am getting on, anyway thy have an 06 400h se 29k on the clock, probably get it around ur budget, grey with tan leather, pm me if you want more info, can send you the details of the sales man and place, they will give you a full yers Toyota approved warranty. I was happy with them anyway :)

Hi, I'm trying to work out the colour of the leather seats, as I'm looking to put some dvd headrests and trying to match the headrests. The trim code say LB22, I gather that is the trim code for the plastics, becuase the seats are def not black and def not light grey they more look like a dark grey, am I correct, or is this what pembroke black look's like, becaus if I put something black next to the seats the seats look like grey??? I'm looking at buying the headrests in black then getting leather spray colour matched to the seats?? I hope this makes sense?, Also these headrest comes with cable and is straight forward to feed the cable through the pole holes, has anyone done this who could report back on the procedure. Thanks

Hi I have just picked up a 2007 400h, 2 questions. 1) At the moment the doors don't lock automatically when I drive off, can this be set and can I do it mysel? 2) how do I disable front passenger child seat, as I can't seem to find any off/on switch so I can put a rear facing child seat in the front.? Hi, Thanks for all the help, picked it up yesterday, well impressed, I miss the keyless entry and keyless start but I can wait for these on the 450h, when I upgrade in a few years. Well happy at the moment, so much space and I'm getting better mpg than the is250 auto, I have driven 100 miles down the motorway on cruise control at 75mph and driven round town for 40 miles and so far the average 33.5 mpg. Well impressed. One thing, the front passenger airbag, how do I turn it off so that I can put a baby seat??, can't find the on/off switch the 250 had it?? any one know how to do it?? Thanks

Ive gone with the deal, I phone lexus and they said everything is covered under the warrant as long as the part that is broken is nothing to do with it not being serviced. Toyota are going to give me a full years guarantee with the car. Not sure if this guarantee can be used at lexus or only toyota places??? You think Lexus will give me an option to extend the warranty I know toyota will??. Not sure how lexus would deal with it, If I extend warrant and something goes wrong, you reckon they will come back and say you never serviced it at this point so its not covered so may stick with the toyota warranty, I mean they are the same company. I found a cargo cover on ebay from the states for 100pounds. Mint condition so have ordered it. It comes with checks like no finance on it or it has not been in any accidents. Fingers crossed, At least I'm buying it from Toyota who own lexus so I should be able to stick some fight if something major happens. That was the only thing about it I was worried, Warranty??? How is the rx in snow??

Hi, Thanks for the reply, the same spec are around 3-4 thousand more, and also this lender is giving me 18,500 for my IS, which is a shock, I think he really wants show of the rx, I saw it todat it looks mint, the only thing was it was missing the shelf in the boot, I'm not sure what it's actually called, anybody know what it is called and where I can get one from, I asked Lexus and the said 700.00 LOL. The dealer said they will do a full 40k service, also found out about the service history, it had done a 10k but no 20k or 30k. I'm hoping the toyota warranty they are giving should cover me for anything major, I just need a rear shelf, any one know where I could get one please ?..

Need your help guys I currently own a IS250 08 plate and am looking to change to a rx 400h, good or bad?? this is my dilemma A toyota dealer has offered me a rx400h sr 07 plate for 22,000. 35k on the clock, does this sound like a good deal?? this is the dilema they got it from an auction lexus financial services sold it at the auction, so it looks like somebody didnt want it any more and gave the keys back and walked away???. so currently they don't know about the service history. they said they will contact lexus financial services for a duplicate service book and handbook, anything else I need they should get. They don't know whether it has a full service history but they will give me 1 years toyota guarantee and a 40k service?? Is this a good move IS250 to RX400h, I'm going from a 08 plate to 07 plate?, as I cant seem to find a RX 08 plate with MM for under 22k. They are giving me a good deal for my IS250. Will I have alot of trouble with the RX, I need reliability. Reasons for bigger, is I need more space for family and 4wd as rear wheel and snow cant take it anymore. Any help is much appreciated? Im looking to keep it for a while a few years and hopefully get a beeter mpg then the IS250 in town driving. Is the RX as luxurious as the IS250, I love the keylees entry and gadgets with the IS 250. Where can I get the OEM dvd screens for the back? Will I regret it and and end up running costing me more?? I know the 450h is out but it's way over my budget line ans really it a no no .

Hi , thanks for the info, I got into the service menu, but it didn't make a difference. It's still low, I'm thinking of popping into a lexus garage see if they have any idea, it works ok on an old sqmsung phone, it just spent sound good with an iPhone or the samsung ultra tocco, puzzles me, you just have to shout to get the other person to hear you clearly, when you turn the mic volume up in the service Menu you start to get distortion.

Hi, I have had my lexus approx 5 months -loving it, it's an is250 SE MM 08 plate. One thing has been bugging me, everyone we speak via the Bluetooth people can just about hear us, it's really dim, any ideas?? I've heard there is a service menu where you can change the microphone volume, any ideas, it's an iphone and samsung phone??? Thanks K

Hi I'm thinking of getting a TOM's TV Navigation override system fitted in the IS250, but before I do, have any of you guys had one fitted and how has it been, any problems? also once fitted have you had to take the car back to lexus for any work and have they said anything. Obviously this method involves not cutting of the wires, from what I have read there is no drawbacks but then again I could be wrong. Will I lose any current funcionality or will it just get better. If all this has already been mention you could forward me the link, I did do a searh but the questions I wanted to know were not answered. Thanks K

Hi Ive just purchased a new lexus IS250 Auto. :D .really looking forward to it, as before have been driving vauxhalls and vw's. The car has a mutimedia pack already but I really wanted some screens in the back.. I was looking at getting some new headrests with built in dvd's??? has anybody tried these??? or is there any other options I have ??? These forums are brilliant as I got alot of great info before I purchased the car, and I am now constantly on the forum LOL. Thanks K
