  1. Thanks for the replies. Ill give that a go when it arrives next week :D
  2. Just purchased an August 2007 IS250 SE-L AUTO MM and was wondering if this car should come with the illuminated kick plates? The dealer was adamant that only the latest 09 SE-L came with this feature, but I always thought that the SE-L always had illuminated kick plates. The car has kick plates saying LEXUS in a transulcent colour but it didn't look like it was lit up?? :duh:
  3. Thanks for the replies everyone. Been out of the country for the past 2 months, but im about to come back in the next couple of weeks, at which point i would like to purchaise and IS250 SE-L. Does anyone have any suggestions when it would be the best time to purchaise one second hand? I.e. Start of september when the new plate comes out etc?
  4. Thanks for the replies. Yes it does look like I should have bought back in Feb! Hindsight is a wonderful thing
  5. Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that the price of a second hand IS250 SE-L Auto MM has increased since Jan - Feb 09? Back then I looked at a 57 plate sliver IS250 SE-L Auto MM with 7000 miles on the clock at the Bristol dealer which was advertised at £18999. There were many other examples being advertised at lexus dealers around the country around that time at this price. Nowadays, similar cars on a 57 plate are now being advertised at dealers for £21.995, even though these cars are now older Was this price drop in Jan- Feb due to the new number plate being released in March, and if so, is it likely that this trend will occur again come September?
  6. Just wanted to know if this is a problem with the foot brake, or does the auto hold the car on a hill with no roll back? Thanks
  7. Thanks for the reply. I thought that the IS250/220 came with the LED number plate lights?!
  8. I have read in the brochure that the brake lights and the rear lights are LED's but when i followed an IS the other day the rear lights didnt look like they are obviously LEDS like you see on BMW's Audi's and even Mazda's. So are the rear lights LED's or is it just he brake lights that are?
  9. I quite like the look of the Sussex grey leather trim but was wondering how well this worn over time. Anyone with any long term experiences. Im especially interested in any discolourations or wear around the drivers bolsters? Thanks
  10. Seems like these issues are a bit hit and miss to me Has anyone had any experience with the Bristol dealer with regards to them being able to stop these rattles?
  11. Are all of the buttons on the dashboard and steering wheel illuminated at night/when the headl
  12. Are all of the buttons on the dashboard and steering wheel illuminated at night/when the headlights are on? What about the electric window switched and the other buttons on the drivers door? Also what is the reversing camera on the MM like at night? Thanks for your time Francis
  13. Sorry if this has come up before but i cant seem to find anything when using the search function Im just wondering if this can be bought at a Lexus dealer and fitted to an IS250 SE-L is this a factory only option? I originally thought that this was only available on the SR but the car ive seen it on is an SE-L currently for sale at the Cardiff Lexus Dealer If it can be retro fitted, does anyone have any idea of the prices charged by the dealer? Picture of the kit - Front Picture of Kit - Rear Thanks again Francis P.s Thanks for moving this mods!
  14. Hi I am very interested in purchasing an IS250 SE-L AUTO with the MM package and thought that id scan through the forums to make sure I know what to look out for. The one thing that worries me is all the complaints about the rattles found in this car as its one thing I hate and certainly wouldn't expect from a Lexus. Is this something that Lexus has dealt with in the newer models i.e cars after say 2007 or is this more of a hit and miss thing? Thanks for your time Francis
