  1. I have spoken to a chap in the US says he has lots of used OEM ones. He is going to look out the 4 best one's and send me pictures along with the cost of sending them to the UK. But still better than paying over a £100 each for new ones. I will see what he comes up with.
  2. I am just about to place an order for the above from the US. Does anyone know of anyone selling them in the UK? Will also need paint as I don't like the chrome look. link to US Ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LEXUS-SC430-TWIST-CHROME-WHEEL-CENTER-CAPS-/370240945109?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5634147bd5 cheer Rob
  3. I got my cambelt done along with a service for £600 at Glasgow Lexus. I did use the phrase "is that the best you can do" down from £700. Rob
  4. Hi I did get one. Travelled all the way to Surrey for one nd got it for a reasonable price. It needed a new cambelt and service £600 at Lexus Glasgow for both. I know its a bit steep but it did not have any service history and my local guy didn't really want to touch it. So i bit the bullet. Just needs a new O2 sensor now.
  5. I got a 100,000 mile service and a cambelt change for £600 including VAT through Lexus Dealer. I was qouted much higher but I used that fantastics phrase "is that the best you can do?" However I cannot get them low enough for a new O2 sensor but I am still working on it. Great Car Good luck. Rob
  6. Have a look at this: http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=72338&st=0&p=751919entry751919
  7. Read my post from earlier today he may be able to help. But you may need to have it programmed. http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=72338 Good luck
  8. I finally got a new master key cut for the sum of £180. This isn’t bad considering the garage wanted to replace my ECU unit and charge me in the region of £1500 for the pleasure. Apparently the garages (Toyota and Lexus) are not allowed to use the services of the Key cutting geniuses to make a master from the valet key. So a big thanks to Gary at http://www.carkeycentre.co.uk/ Rob
  9. Hi All I am considering buying a Lexus SC430 if I can find one that is. However I have been unable to test drive one in the Glasgow area as none of the garages have any. I know they got slated by Top Gear, however I don't want a racing car I just want something nice to drive. What what are your thoughts on your cars? Rob
  10. You lucky begger I crashed my Lexus in mid Jan and still waiting for the insurance to be sorted. I have been looking for a few weeks now and can't find many that match my old one. Oh and fairley sturdy when they land on the roof but not recommend. Rob
  11. Steve Thanks for that reply. Took it Lexus's recommended bodyshop repairer said 2 doors only. Cheers Rob
  12. A van managed to dent both door in my is200. Bad I know but they did leave their details Yahoo. The car was park and got hit by a van as it tried to get round a into a tight corner so I don't think it was impacted at any great speed. (No I did not park on the corner). However took it to the recommended repairer (recommended by their Insur Comp) and say need 2 new doors and a bottom sill. Now my query is I can clearly see the dents high up in the middle of the doors but the sill feels and looks fine. The garage whats to replace the 2 doors and the sill. I am not convinced that the sill needs to be replaced. Should I get a second opinion as I don't want any unnecessary repairs done to my precious car. Not broke don't fix it.
