  1. Hi mate, just saw this Has the front lip fitted... any good to you?
  2. Hi mate, It's mounted in the trim above the number plate, facing down so that you see the top edge of the bumper. My friend tried to hide it as much as possible and you really can't notice it's there unless you get up close to the car. This is the camera I used: My link Hope this helps.
  3. Thanks mate :) It was $185 from their outlet store on eBay when I purchased it, so without shipping costs it was much cheaper than the uk one. A friend of mine has a car audio shop & they fitted it with the parking sensors. Plugs into the navigation DVD drive, then requires power and earth connection.
  4. wow ! you actually have that music on you iPod lol lol you don't like Adina Howard? Fair point I should have muted the audio.
  5. I ordered a navtool interface form the states when my cousin visited earlier in the year. It's finally been fitted and works really well so I wanted to share a video. I'd definitely recommend it to any one who has the navigation system. The camera is a CCD Halfords own brand one, which was reduced to £30 and I also had a LPA-400 parking sensor kit from ebay which was fitted at the same time. Video quality is good and there's still an additional input to fit a DVD player.
  6. Hi mate, i've just fitted a NAVTOOL interface on my 2002 IS200 navigation system and it works really well. I only have the reversing camera fitted but there is an additional input for DVD player. Here is my youtube link:
  7. That's Perfect... thanks mate Just asked the seller a question, to confirm if the grill is pre 08 model( i think the pre 08 and post 08 ones are bit different and dont fit each other), it looks pre 08... but just wanted to be sure before i place a bid ... thanks once again No problem mate. here is another brand new one and has part numbers listed: My link
  8. Hi, This looks like the one you need: IS220 Grill it's damaged but I think you can just swap over the surround?
  9. It might also be worth considering a second hand interior? As long as the seats are not too worn, a good valet should bring them up nicely. This one looks ok: My link
  10. Thanks mate. I have got quite a few spots of bubbling too, mainly on the front ones... from behind. Luckily the spokes are still fine. Are you gonna get them rufurbished?
  11. I know what you mean, I struggled with those bits too. Did the best I could with a small polishing cloth, tbh it looks great from far away but if you go right up to the badges it's not perfect!
  12. Thank you mate :) its a 2002 02 with just over 70k. I've always loved them in red.
  13. Hi, thanks for the comments. I just used Autoglym super resin polish, then my brother gave me Autoglym extra gloss protection to try. Really pleased with how it came out. The caps I found on ebay.com from this seller and he gave me a UK shipping quote: My link I think there are quite a few sellers now, all around the same price. They weren't as tight fitting so I used the clips from the old ones.
  14. I finally got round to getting my spoiler fitted so wanted to share some pics. The red paint was starting to look really dull so it has been touched up and polished. My wheel caps were in pretty bad shape too, so decided to try out these imitation ones. Genuine ones were working out to be £16-22 each! I have to admit although they are clearly not the same quality; I am really pleased with them. £15 delivered and they arrived in just over a week. Time will tell how long they last. There are some fantastic cars on this forum, but as my modification funds are limited I will just aim to keep it looking neat and tidy fo now!
  15. Hi Craig, looks like someone has forced off the panel with the window/ mirror switches. I found the switch you need: My link Maybe you can get them to pay for it?

  17. Hi, wanted to know if any can help me out with this rattle on the drivers side B-Pillar in my dads 2007 IS250? I have been looking on here and other forums and seen that quite a few people had a similar problem, but can't seem to find out what was causing it and how to get rid of it?? The car is still under warranty and the dealer has already had to sort out other issues including the vvti noise, vsc light and a squeaky dash. It was a pain and not expected from Lexus to have so many faults on a 3 year old car. However they did take care of everything and it is running really well now. What a superb car, my dad is loving it more and more every day. It's just this one small issue. The problem is it goes away every time a technician inspects the noise on a test drive, and I've noticed it more in the evenings possibly due to the temperature. It seems to be coming from the area behind the seat belt adjuster, right by the drivers ear at speeds over 20mph and over bumps/ rough surfaces. The seals around the door have already been replaced, can any one give any other suggestions? Many Thanks.
  18. I know this is late, I would like a set if it is still ok: XE-03 is200 auto #1 'sport' version. If it is too late then not a problem :)
  19. Hi mate noticed your post and came across these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/01-05-IS300-ALTEZZA-SMOKE-PROJECTOR-FOG-LIGHTS-SWITCH-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQfitsZMakeQ3aLexusQ7cModelQ3aIS300QQhashZitem5198fe9807QQitemZ350459172871QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories#ht_8344wt_1167 Not sure if they sell them separately but these Fog lights come with connectors, is that what you need? Could try contacting them.
  20. Hi mate I fitted Left Hand Drive IS300 brake and accelerator pedals in my is200. Brake pedal was straight fit, accelerator pedal had to be removed from the actual arm as they were different. It's held on with a metal pin so needs hammering out with a pin punch tool. I assumed the footrest would be different so managed to find one at a breakers yard, which also turned out to be different but made it fit. http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=72414
  21. Yeah I saw a few posts about how to split them and might give it a try one weekend... brand new I was quoted around £280 for a pair. No luck on the heater rings though. yeh £180 a side is for HIDs, gonna get a set of darker ones for my 300, after i've renewed my insurance, had a service and done all the brakes, your pedals look very clean too, mine are quite grubby :( I got a large list of other expenses too..! The brake and accelerator pedal came from here: My link Really pleased with them, look almost new. Pedals are all listed on the ebay shop individually with large pictures so you can choose exactly which one you want.
  22. Nice one mate! will look into it when I got some spare cash :)

  24. Thanks mate... Looking for some heater rings and dark headlights now!
  25. After collecting together parts from various places, I finally had a complete set of Aluminum parts which I managed to install the other day. Door sill plates are really easy to clip on and off. Pedals were tricky however. The accelerator arm needed to be removed as the actual pedal is pinned in. Two bolts hold it in place and it's awkward to get to them. My pedal came from a left hand drive IS300 therefore the arm was a slightly different shape. Brake pedal can just clip on, fairy liquid helps. The footrest turned out to have different clips to my one, even though it was from a UK car from the same age. Luckily the clips from the original were removable and I was able to cut the tops off and stick them into the new one. The pedals are hard to find on Auto's and I'm really pleased with the result.
