I bought my RX400h from Milton Keynes and it goes back for service. I cannot speak too highly of them,- very courteous and helpful, nothing is too much trouble!!

I had gap insurance and superguard on my 400h-well pleased!! Also had towbar fitted by Lexus.Quite expensive but I most local towbar fitters said they would not fit to a 400h-too complicated and could easily create problems. Lexus did reduce their original quote a lot, so I let them fit it then no problems in the future(I hope)

Last year I bought a 2008 model (demonstrator) and went for both of these options. GAP gives a guarantee of purchase cost in the event of a write off in the 3 year period. Difficult to put a value on this as it is an insurance policy. Also had the Superguard. Personally I think this was expensive for what I got and they did not do a very good job of it. In my opinion it is not worth the money. Hope you enjoy the car.

I had a genuine tow-bar fitted to my RX400h by Lexus M/Keynes before I collected car. No comments from them about suitability- in fact tow-bar is listed in accessory list. Mine is fine and car tows very well.

I have recently bought a RX400h,(2007 and only 9000miles). However I find the reversing lights very feeble. Is this just me (or my car,) or do others agree? Has anyone any cures as I have to reverse into a dark and twisty entrance at home? Otherwise the car is great - approx 30mpg including towing a big caravan and fast open road driving.
