Here are the pics of how the car looks. Tell me what you guys think Not sure whether this will work . Anyone have any ideas how to load up pics on here as I have tried and keep failing. Its starting to really wind me up now. Maybe I'm just a bit stupid on the computer!

Well Its all done. Took me and my mate 6 hours to do the whole job. Springs went in fine, same with the front discs. We had to use a puller to get the rear discs off as they were seized. The car looks a lot better and feels a lot more planted on the road. We changed the lower ball joints on the front aswell. All I need to do now is get the wheels realigned and the car should be good for now. Have a few other mods to fit in the future but have to keep the missus happy and get her a new oven this month. Lifes a bitch sometimes! Serviced the car aswell. Goes alot better. Used Castrol magnatec and added Motor Up Extreme. Feels a lot more responsive. Tried down loading the pics but can't seem to work it out

Decided to fit the grooved discs. All I need now is a new set of rims. ANyone fitted Hansos on their is200?

Got them from CRN Performance. Discs were 300 quid with pads. Have 22 grooves. Got the springs from them aswell . they were 125 quid. Been talking to them and have been told the drilled discs aren't as good as the grooved so have decided to keep them. Thier delivery time is good and the guys are very helpful.

I'm not sure. I'm waiting for a reply from the company that supplied them I won't do it unless its safe to do. Won't risk my life or others just for that I'll call them now as its quicker than an email

Well my order has finally arrived. A new set of Apex lowering springs and all round sport discs. Only problem is the discs are grooved not drilled and grooved as I asked for. I'm a bit peeved but might get my engineer mate to just drill them. Saves me a couple of weeks before I can fit them. They came with yellow stuff brake pads so should be pretty good. Hopefully will be fitting them tomorrow morning if my mate can be relied on. Will post some pics of before and after. Will try and fit the new second stage of the exhaust aswell.

Thanks for advice. Went to toyota and they quoted me 40 euros a piece for the door seals. The missus is already complaining about the money I spent on my new discs and lowering springs and other bits for the car so I reckon she'll be getting a new oven this month to keep her happy , then I can fork out some cash on some Hanso wheels. I'm going to get a quote for the windscreen as it does have a couple of small cracks. Hopefully wont be too much.

I'm recently getting a lot of wind noise coming from around the doors when driving. I checked and some of the door seals have split and are slightly squashed. Has anyone replaced the door seals? How easy is it? Also i'm getting a water leak around the top of the windscreen. Should I get a new windscreen as It has a few chips or just reseal the old one. Any ideas?

I'm looking for a body kit for my is200. Have looked around but most are a bit over the top. Any one had luck in finding a decent one? Foun d one on ebay by JDL. Looks good but not sure what it will look like in silver.

Thanks for that. Have been given a contact number for Universal Turbos. I will try both and see what the best deal is. How much will the whole system cost more or less? Can I buy the system bit by bit? By the way had a look at your pics of your car. Very nice! Where did you get the body kit from? I've been looking for one but most are a bit over the top. Need a kit that flows with the rest of the car.

I'm thinking of fitting a turbo to my 2001 is200 but have no idea in whats involved. I hav e a couple of mates who work on turbos on boats and will help with the instalation. I would like to know what is needed and does the ECU need remapping ? Any info would be really good. Thanks

I put on a set of KYBs and they are pretty good. Got them for 99 quid. Easy to fit aswell. As for the discs I've ordered a full set with pads from CRN Performance drilled and grooved for 300. They do cheaper and without the grooves and holes. Have a look. I'll see what they are like next week when they arrive.

Thanks for the info. Found some other lights from Hong Kong. But they are LED and not sure whether they will be a bit too much for the car. Thats what I was told untill I checked the filter. It was chocked with bits of tree and bugs and road grime. Gave it a quick clean with a brush and hoover and the car started running better. Sounded more throaty which is better even with a Japspeed exhaust on it. Has a nice howl around 3000 revs.

Has anyone bought a headlight with halos fitted in them. I found an american site that sells a system which looks pretty good. Just need to know whether they will work for an is200 as they are made for the is300 and are american. The site is www.lextasy.com Thought they would look pretty good.

Just made my order for apex lowering springs and drilled and grooved discs front and back and new pads. Should get them by the end of the week. Hopefully will have them fitted then aswell as 2 new lower ball joints and second stage exhaust system. Getting a service done aswell. Anyone fitted apex before. How do they feel? Heard they are very good. Also do you really need to use KN filter cleaner and oil to clean the sport filter? Should have sum pics soon

Anyone tried fitting a SC with a turbo? Heard it can be done.

My steering wheel looks really tatty now and am looking for a new one. Went to Toyota yesterday and they quoted me 1000 Euros for one with no airbag. Nearly past out! Anyone have any ideas where to get one. Looked on ebay but can't really tell if they have any damage.

Thanks mate, will have a look online for a new one. Decided to spec up my car instead of selling it. Hopefully will be all done before the summer starts.
