Hi everyone! I'm awaiting delivery of my new IS220d SEi from the Bristol dealership in a couple of weeks. I know that it won't come close to my old IS200 Sport in terms of performance, but it was the comfort of the car that really sold it. I'm also hoping for improved mpg on my regular runs to Cornwall and Stafford. I'm already impressed with the helpful advice from members on all matters Lexus - many thanks!!

Having thought about buying a 2010 model IS220d, I wanted to know how the spec differed from the 2009 model. I Googled my question and. lo and behold - LOC! As a new member I am finding some really helpful stuff - many thanks.

Hi Guys I've had my 220d for almost 2 years with 20,000 on the clock. I've experienced the same problems with a rattle from the dash and the marking of the rear bumper from the boot lid. On the positive side I regularly get 46mpg over a month's mixed motoring. Stone chippings seem to appear quite regularly on the paintwork and it's a problem trying to get a decent colour match. Overall I'm really pleased with the car for comfort, looks and reliability - this is in stark contrast with my previous BMW 320i that suffered 3 breakdowns in the first 5 months of ownership, an experience that I will never be foolish enough to repeat again!
