  1. I'm getting a Magic Pro to do the same job in not draining the battery. Do you know if there is a good entry point through the bulk head to access the battery?
  2. Thanks, I'll try this. Any ideas on the best location to hard wire in a ground point, constant live & ignition live? Where is the fuse box located? Thanks
  3. I was told by Lexus that the side skirt was ever-so slightly different. Couldn't see it myself.
  4. Thanks Normski I notice you have mud flaps fitted, I was always told by Lexus that I couldn't get and fit them to my F-Sport
  5. I've no photo, but its the trim that runs from the roof to the dash on the inside of the 'A' pillar. The model year is 2010.
  6. Hi I'm looking to run a dash cam wire down the 'A' pillar and was wondering how to remove the trim. Is it easy, or will something snap in the process ? :eerrrmm:
  7. There is also some difference in Spec with the two difference F-Sport models that came out in 2010. I can't remember exactly all the modifications but mine which came out early 2010 has a 'F-Sport' rectangular shaped badge on the wing, whereas towards the end of the year the badge was more of a square shape with the 'F' more pronounced . The latter had front bumper/fog light mods but lost the turning headlamps from the earlier model.
  8. Hi, I bought from new in 2002 a IS200 Sport and then a IS300 in 2004. I part exchanged the IS300 in 2010 when i bought new my IS250 F-Sport and I can honestly say that the F-Sport feels as quick as my IS300, it handles much better on the road with a firm but cushioned ride (anyone that says the ride is choppy probably needs a wheel alignment as the cars toe settings may need adjusting) and the refinement is so much better. I'd highly recommend this car, it sits lower than the standard IS250 due to the F-Sport suspension. I have 46,000 miles on mine now and its as good as the first day I bought it! Tyre wear is great too, can't say the same for the IS200 & IS300!
  9. its a safty feature. when the fog lamps are switched on, the car realises that visibility is seriously reduced and mutes the radio so you can concentrate better :winky:
  10. I would strongly recommend "Wheels In Motion" (W.I.M.). You will easily find them on a web search or on LOC web site. I've used them plenty of times and have nothing but praise for them. Tony and his staff are real enthusiasts and will take good care of your Lexus and alloys.
  11. Yep, same here. Not a fault, just a security issue because the phone is password protected, Remove the password feature in your car and this should clear up any issues.
  12. I'll keep investigating the mud flap issue, I've fitted them to my other cars (IS200 sport & IS300) and usually only fit them on the fronts as the rears don't tend to kick-up much muck. Still debating what to do here???
  13. Several bods at Lexus dealerships have told me they won't fit but fail to explain why. Are your mud flaps genuine Lexus parts and what year is your model, maybe it has something to do with the wheelarch liner screw holes??? If I'm able to get some fitted (on the fronts), I thought of having colour coded or not.
  14. They look great! What size rims 19"?? I wanted to fit front Lexus mud flaps on my F-Sport only to be told by Lexus that they won't fit! dunno why?
  15. I guess it's mainly the looks, but at that price you would also be expecting everything else! I didn't realise the IS350 came with big brakes, is there a photo of this anywhere so that I can compare?
  16. Yes, I've been reading up on them and as the car came with 18" wheels as standard, they will fit. Only problem is that if I had to fit the spare tyre on the front, it wouldn't fit as i believe this is a 17". Apart from that, they do look awesome B)
  17. Saw these and love them, but can't justify spending that amount. Or are they worth every penny http://is.sewellparts.com/accessories-catalog/fsport/IS250-2010/1794.html
  18. Depending on how hard you boot it, it could be coming from your passengers!
  19. Try this http://is.sewellparts.com/accessories-catalog/fsport/IS250-2010.html
  20. My wheels are the same and I find that they chip quite badly. Can you recommend a good touch-up paint, one I got from Halfords isn't the best of silver match.
  21. yes, mine does this. I believe it's because i have my iPhone set-up with 'password protect'. next time this happens, pick up your phone and activate it, you'll probably find that the phone requires you to input your password, once this has been entered then make a call. It will probably happen again if you don't make a call during your password protect period.
  22. Hi I guess ive been very lucky. I have a 2010 F-Sport and just recently got a iPhone 4. I paired by phone with the car and all the contacts automatically transfered to the car without me knowing (over 500 of them!). Ive not done any modding to the car or phone (no aditional apps & its not jailbreaked either). when a call is made or received, the persons name is displayed on the cars sat-nav just how it has been stored on the phone. sorry you guys are having such bad luck.
  23. Hi, I've got a F-Sport (Mar'10) with MM and just got my iPhone 4 this week. Paired the phone for the 1st time today and almost instantly all my contacts are now in the car even without me having to ask either the car or phone to transfer the data. I'm well pleased!
