  1. i've also been contacted.and when i was talking to lexus of plymouh regarding info on my next service they told me that my service is due the begining of january and they expect to have the fix by then to carry out the recall the same time as service. so it seems their fully aware
  2. Does anybody know if the GS300 sport wheels will bolt straight on to the is 250. with out any mods, as the rears are 10".it would appear they have the same off set. thanks in advance
  3. well guys, i've arranged to take my car back to Toyota. they looked after my supra tt. for a good 5yrs,and no problems, they tell me they can get the parts no problems along with the necessarry info. they also reckon that their computor can deal with most problems as well as bein cheaper on the hourly rate. so as TOYOTA ownes Lexus it all equates to my car been well looked after,it will just have toyota stamp in the book instead of lexus.plus i won't have a 140 mile round trip
  4. hi,guy's. have been noticing for a while now. that every now and then sat nav switches off, re-press the agree button and back comes the map. is this normall, car is under lexus warranty still-on 06 model se-l. thanks in advance
  5. which side reflector is damaged? in order for you to get to the screw and unscrew it, you will have to remove the bumper (or atleast half of the bumper so that you can access the screw) It's very straight forward to actually remove the bumper. Let me know if you want to know how exactly to remove the bumper, and I can post a how to guide hi,that would be great,if you could give me the bumper removal info. it's the passenger rear. regards glenn
  6. i have a cracked rear bumper reflector, which i want to change, their's a small screw on the pointed section. which accessesible from the rear of bumber but it's right in the corner of the bumper, and even a dumpy screw driver looks imposible,so anyone got any nice easy soloutions. surely this should be an easy repair, unlike the cost of part [£45] thanks in advance
  7. learning something every day. 4days to go.thanks for the info
  8. pick up my 250 sel auto multimedia and sunroof. next saturday .car a 55 plate with 27k in light blue metalic. i've been told it also has ACC.[active cruise control]. apparently the only lexus spec left would be a upgrade on the wheels. the auto is certainly the better choice, even the wife pushed me to do the deal. can't wait.
  9. thanks for your replys , car should be ready to view mid week, i think it's sept 05. which should be the lower tax bracket, with the auto is there any buttons on the steering wheel for gear changes [ like on the lexus 300 cross sport] or it just the stick on the 250. is there any bad points other than the rattely dash to look out for,
