  1. Hi,

I've been recommended to try you as you may be able to help me locate the part I am missing!

I am looking for the small piece of trim that fits in front of the rear wheel. It is a small moulding about 12'' high and a couple of inches wide and is the front part of the wheel arch itself. If you did have one I would be very grateful. My e-mail is terry@ter...

  2. Thanks for that, i'll track him down and see if he can help. Terry
  3. Hi, I don't know if anyone has idea on how to get hold of this particular bit of bodywork. It is the small piece that fits in front of the wheel arch from the top of the sill to the top of the 3/4 panel. It's about 12inches high and a couple of inches wide (sorry I don't do metric much). I came out from the shop and it just wasn't there! It had already been replaced so I imagine it had just fallen off. I've tried various spares places to no avail and Lexus want £203+ vat for it! Any help would be useful, many thanks. Terry
  4. Hi everyone, does anybody know where I can source the rear n/s dog-leg moulding in front of the rear wheel as mine has vanished! I can get one from Lexus but it is over £200 and have tried finding one on various spares sites but with no luck. Any info would be useful.

  5. Hi everyone, I have now had my LS400 for a week and it seems to be wonderful car. It is a 1995 LS400 with f/s/h (150k)and seems to have been well looked after. It has a few extras like a couple of 'L's across the exhaust tailpipes which looks good and also it seems to have had a wood upgrade as it is everywhere! I had a problem with the speedo/rev counter not working but that now seems fine. The only problem I have, and it seems to be a common one, is the display on the radio/cd panel; it doesn't show at all. Does anyone have any info on whether this is fixable or does it need a new one put in. If so, what sort of price are we looking at? Many thanks for any info given. Terry
  6. It seems a sharp tap on the top of the dashboard was all that was needed!
  7. Hi, I have just purchased a 1995 LS400 in Venetian Blue which seems to be a wonderful car in many respects. It has f/s/h and has a few extras such as an L inscribed across each exhaust tailpipe. One thing that is a bit of a problem is that yesterday, both the speedometer ans rev counter needles stopped working. No sign of any wavering or anything, just failed to register. Everything else, i.e. all the gauges etc. work fine so I imagine it is a cable loose or something of that nature. If anyone has any ideas what may have caused this and has any info on how to get thenm working again, I would be very grateful. Thanks, Terry.
