  1. I had a issue with my GS bumper after a small scuff against a kerb cracked the bumper from a area which they told me had "a scratch" and needed painting, which i took Sheffield Lexus word. I was shocked to have seen a massive chunk of plastic missing and fillered like no tomorrow.

They didnt get back to my messages at all which lead me to complain to head quarter's. I managed to get bumper of them in the end.

    Its defo worth a shot.

  2. Been a long day and finally im back in a ISF. So as a few of you know which car it was.. so thanks for the tips. I can confirm all the service records have been confirmed by the specialist who said they only ever worked on one ISF and it was Mr so and so's (they actually said they had alot of inquiries about the service record lol). There are some very minor cosmetic to sort (me being anal) but otherwise the car is great, interior is near spotless and exterior is clean and tidy.. i really cant complain with what i paid (and it was not the asking price.. ;)

The owners were open to the things i pointed out and we agreed a price after the usual hussle lol.. both father and son where great help.

I actaully liked the silver once i saw it, not my first choice but its grown on me. It drives and pull fantasic (missed that F scream). My brother and i felt it was quicker then my last one for some reason.

Good to be back in one.

What made you go for the GS, following on from the fast Lexus and Merc?

Is it the power of the ISF you miss or other things to?

Mainly beacsue i needed a daily drive car, the GS300h got the nod. Great on MPG, next ro nothing tax, cheap servicing etc etc.

Reason i miss the ISF is because of its character on the street.. you can drive it like a normal IS and not make too much noise, go unnoticed, unlike like the AMGs or Ms or RSs are in your face. But knowing you have a V8 breathing under the bonnet. The thought of that was comforting alone, the looks, rarity, confortable, so no, it wasnt just speed i miss.

  4. I moved from ISF to CLS55 to GS300h.. and i love it. It takes some  getting used to at first, as i was more custom to cars that shift when you touch the gas pedal. The 450h i know is a much quicker car and if it drives as good as the 300h then the only difference is bhp.

I dont think you will be disapointed if you went from ISF to 450h.

One thing i will tell you... i bloody dam miss the ISF.
