  4. find a stainless specialist in your area with good reviews  i paid 750 incl fitting from cat back on gs430 sport , and when i  said i was'nt loud enough they put 2 smaller boxes on the rear and gave me the  quieter ones as well no money difference . i used custom chrome in nuneaton warks . it may be a little out of your way tho.

Update: Had the exhaust sorted this cold morning. Quite difficult to find a decent stainless steel exhaust company in East Midlands as first of all the prices are ridiculous and the ones i found seem to be fully booked for weeks. I'm not going to advertise here but the guys who did the job were very professional and helpful.

FYI i have included a drawing of the SC430 exhaust system.

Sections 5 and 7 were rusted trough on mine and i had them replaced. They cut off straight after the lambda senors and removed the last cat also.

Once the cambelt and radiator are replaced, i will have the back boxes done too. The car has noticeably more power and i don't awake the neighbors in the morning anymore 🙂

    Prices as follows:

    Section 5: £150

    Section 7: £300

Section 8: depending on the setup approx £350

Another option was to buy OEM parts from Lexus but stainless steel costs a lot less and comes with "lifetime warranty" lol.

While the car was up on the ramp i had a good lookaround underneath. Common problem on Japanese cars is underside rust and this one is no exception. The oil leak is still there but it's very minor and i'm sure the new sump cover gasket will sort it.  Radiator actually looks very fresh, but i will replace it anyway as i have done on all my Lexuses and i recommend all LS/GS/SC 430 owners to be aware, that the gearbox coolant is flowing trough it. Ideal solution would be to bypass the rad and have a separate oil cooler. I'm sure many of you have fitted these already.

was it facing a kfc in midlands ?

  6. I would get in touch with eBay an ad tell them that I informed them of this scam back in November and they removed it, they know it's a scam and did nothing to stop it being relisted . It will cost you 35 quid to take them to small claims court . What have you got to loose . eBay ought to be held accountable for their content . I'm really sorry you fell for this , but I spotted it as too good to be true I only followed it up as i wanted to out these scum bags !

  7.    BE AWARE             eBay item number: 39217878643   ENQUIRED AS TO WHY THIS IS SOOOO CHEAP HERE IS THE EMAIL I RECEIVED AS THEY ARE DEAF AND CANNOT ANSWERT THE PHONE ... I CALLED eBay TO TELL THEM AND THEY WILL INVESTIGATE IN THE NEXT 24-72 HRS .....!!!!!!

    Hi again,

Like i said in my previous email the car is at the AJ Long Transport Ltd company ( www.ajlong-transport.co.uk) and it will be better for both if the transaction will be done through them, due to the fact i'm overseas and I can not meet with you in person. They will be the third, objective party involved in the transaction. This way you will actually pay for the car after you receive and test it, because the shipping company will hold the funds in an Escrow and release it to me only after you receive and decide to keep the car.
You will have 5 days of inspection period. After the inspection period if you decide to keep it they will release the money to me and if you decide not to keep it they will come to pick it up and give you a full refund. I'm sure this won't be the case because the vehicle is flawless.Along with the car you will receive all the documents including the V5,keys, owner's manual,MOT certificates and a bill of sale signed to a legal attorney.
If you decide to buy the car, please include the following information in your next email.
    -Full Name;
    -Shipping Address (postal code,full address)
    -Phone Number
Let me know if the above return policy is acceptable and if you want to purchase the car.
    Thanks for understanding,
    Precious Michelle Tina

  8. hi i have the same on my wifes 250 replaced them with quality disc pads done 10k and there is a flutter , i noticed when i did her rear pads the caliper was a pita to remove i greased all the slides etc , it may be the rears arent working and putting more effort into the fronts as there was no issue when new , try looking at your rears or get your local garage to put it in the rollers and check the rear efficiancy
