As the title says , took the advise off a member on here and bought some hsd coilovers , had them fitted a couple of weeks ago , then yesterday took it down to a friend of mine who runs a Porsche suspension shop ( CENTRE GRAVITY IN ATHERSTONE WARKS ) THEY SET THE CAR UP TRACK /. CASTER AND CAMBER  and fettled with the settings on the adjustable coilovers

WOW  .... it is utterly fabulous to drive ....the turn-in ...the control  ... the ride ... just stunning .......and that's on crappy tyres ( waiting on some Michelins )

so thanks to the members on here and chris & pete at centre gravity ( not cheap but OMG its worth it ) ...

I would be warry of second hand I just purchased new 515 plus vat for my gs

if they are s/h and 1 has gone then you will need to replace  and I would think it would work out more exp in the long run

having just read a post from some years ago by aido  I have just ordered a set of HSD DualTech Coilovers for Lexus GS300/Toyota Aristo JZS161                       will post pics as soon as they arrive/ fitted

had the gs430 on a ramp other day the front springs are tein (green ) the backs are what looks like originals  would I get away with gs 300 sport springs ? thanks

my sc 430 would do 19mpg ave on reg fuel and when using bp super it rose to 22 ave

I agree with   Diesel Do Nicely Brian  avoid supermarkets ...

I had a stand up argument about this issue a couple of years back when working with alfa romeo , supermarket fuel caused a misfire in the pet engine cars when reverting back to s/ u fuel  it was fine , I run my 430 sport on super bp ..

well chuffed with my 430 .. when I was buying it I asked if it had been lowered he said when his father ordered it new there was no sport option (2003) yr so they ..lexus .. put gs 300 sport suspension on it ?

is this the same as 430 sport as it fells bouncy at speed ?

HI I used a 3M fast cut (green top) as I 1500 flatted down as the paint was nt  nice the finished with meguires

to be fair as long as the paintwork is in good order  any polish will look good , but a finishing wax like dodo etc will always add to the depth ( imo)

3 days of mopping , haven't done the front bumper lower as I have to paint the spoiler  due to chips

but im quite happy with her  from when I picked her up last pick

I have the same fault is this due to carbon build up ?

as I had the same on an s4 (sack of sh**) audi  it was knockin due to build up did a terra clean and it was fine .

its ok I get my fuel free only have to give the garage my debit card and drive away  what could be more simple  lol

it has been standing for nearly 6 months only moved to have an mot 3 months ago so pics not very nice

give me a few days plenty of meguires and it will be lovely

did a 200 miles trip to view this today the advert states" the new owner will be very pleased "

if the new owner was blind he would be pleased how on earth can anyone advertise a car like this I don't know ..it was appalling ..

the pics look great even when you zoom in .... the front wing o/s was nice tho ..

bonnet masses of chips , front spoiler loose and hanging down  front wheels corroded

front door plastic trims loose both sides and rubber seal hanging down .seal around door worn and failing off

drivers seat worn and v dirty arm rest worn thro  air con not working button for boot no cover

roof 2 large dents 1 very large

boot lid very large dent from rear window edge to most of the way through to spoiler ... spoiler loose

rear bumper scuffed & both parking sensors missing !!!!!!

 traction light  constantly lit   the only way you would be PLEASED with this pile of is if it was given to you with 500 quid in your hand ...,

oh and the dog mess around the car  was another thing ....

all I got was " what do you expect for a y reg car ....

ok thanks , I have a 2 tone wheel off a Toyota yaris which is nice and small might try it  and replace badge ...
