Quick update

Had a misfire issue, but 2 coilpacks later and its sorted

18"s are now sold, as i had a change of heart. New set of 17" lightweight jdm alloys on the way :)

Also need some ideas to make my is200 look a bit more jdm on the whole. Any specific parts i should be looking at? Looking at getting some coilovers in the next few months, and possibly carbon bonnet and bootlid.

Whereabouts is the EML located on the dash? Couldn't see one the other day, and when i called the AA out the other day due to my coilpack failure, he said the TRC light could double as an EML? Is this true?

Jay - The ones you have listed are 67.1, not 66.1

Steve - Can't enter 66.1 or 60.1 into that website, they are not options unfortunately

Looks like i'll have to go custom. I know a company who can make them, but they'll be £19.99 a set

I've put a deposit down on a set of super rare, super lightweight alloys imported from Japan to put on the IS200, but i have a problem. The centre bore is 66.1mm Nissan spec, and i need 60.1mm for the lexus. However, i can't seem to find any spigot rings that will fit. I can find 67.1mm to 60.1mm, but these will be too big. Can i buy a set and get 1mm machined off? If so, should i be going for metal ones?

Only other option is getting a set custom made :(

Really? Just looks like a blank. Cheers though, i only had a quick look, but it didn't look like a sensor to me, hence why i checked as i wanted to make sure it had one in there ;)

Just looks like a piece of plastic plugged into the wiring. Doesn't look like a sensor. Kinda spike shaped

Noticed yesterday while searching for the cause of my misfire, that the connector that goes into the airbox just has a blank on it? Is there meant to be a sensor here, or is that on a higher spec is200? Mine is an SE

Firstly, you need someone to read the codes off the car. This will give you a good idea what has gone wrong

AA were called out today, it was diagnosed as coilpack 1 and 4 gone. This was confirmed as when coilpack 1 was moved to 2, and 4 to 6, another scan showed coilpacks 2 and 6 misfiring.

Dandydons is saving the day by sending me a couple of nearly new coilpacks, cheers buddy :)

Anyone know a downloadable free software for obd2, so i can read the codes asap on my is200 thats misfiring

Cool, thanks for the info. I'm gonna check the plugs/coils tomorrow, i'm hopeful it may be a dud spark plug, but i'm fearing the worst tbh

Driving to work last night, and all of a sudden, seemed down on power, spluttering a bit, sounded like a scooby lol. TRC light flashing also. Am i right in thinking this is a spark plug/coilpack issue? No EML came on though, and most threads i've read with the same problem have had the EML come on as well

Any help appreciated

Is the engine cover easy enough to take off, so i can check plugs/coilpacks?

Too far away unfortunately. Think i'm losing patience with him tbh. Have found another set of wheels which i'm leaning towards and are much more is200 friendly

17" x 8.5J rears running 235/45/17 tyres ET38

Apparently no stamps, but thats the second set of Work alloys that i've been told have no stamps on the rear. I really want these, but whats the likelyhood that these will fit? I know its hard to tell without the proper measurements though

Turns out that they're not et22, and he doesn't know what they are. Its really frustrating, as these would look perfect on my is, but i dont wanna buy them if they stick out of the arches. As said above, they came off a '95 supra, but don't they have pretty huge arches?

Set of Work Equip alloys

Offset 22 i think. The guy who's selling them said he doesn't know how wide they are, due to no stamps except a works one on the wheel itself. I think, judging by other wheels i've seen, that the front are 17" x 8j, and the rear are 17" x 9j. Fronts are fitted with 235/45/17, and the rears 255/40/17. Weird that the fronts have a higher profile, but they need replacing anyway

Anyone running 9.5j alloys on an is200? I've seen a set i quite fancy, but i'm concerned about the width, especially on the fronts. I'm just waiting for the seller to get back to me with the offset

How much are these grilles from a lexus main dealer? Can only really find one on eBay, and thats just short of 50 quid delivered from USA
