Looking good :) Strange how there is such a large gap between the headunit and fascia.

I have got a surround for it, but it looks even worse with the headunit further out, so i dropped the headunit back a bit more, and sat it like this. Don't think it looks too bad tbh :)

Nice car. Got any pictures of the car side on showing the 40mm drop? Also the stereo looks best with orange backlight as it matches the dash lights.

Will take one for you when i next out with the camera mate ;) It hasn't got orange unfortunately :( but i'm hoping to buy the smd kit in blue off eBay to match the headunit :)

The fascia comes with a bit on trim that fits into that gap, to make the whole thing more snugly fitting, did it not fit correctly with your stereo or something?

Also, I sanded down my fascia to lose the texture, and sprayed it with some Halfords satin black so it matched the rest of the interior a bit more closely:

As above reply, didn't look right, so i left it off. As for the fascia, i'm looking into getting it all cf wrapped :)

Well, after a bit of a faff with the wiring (getting the wrong harness, then getting the correct one but missing the switched live wire, before finally getting the correct harness with all required wires) the headunit is in :D Really nice piece of kit, liking it a lot

Found some 18" alloys quite quickly after buying the lexus

Good clearance on the calipers, better in fact than the standards

Only problem i have is that they're only 7j wide :(

The guy i bought my is200 from recommended a set of oem nissan skyline r33 alloys? Apparently they're forged and ver light, and fill the arches nicely. Anyone care to comment?

What tyes would you recommend on the above wheels?

Fronts - 18" x 8.5J, ET45

Rears - 18" x 9.5J, ET40

And will i have any rubbing issues? Car has been lowered 40mm, but has had the arches rolled previously

Would i be right in saying the front discs on my 2000 IS200 SE are 296mm, and the rears 308mm? Had my IS200 for a few days, and coming from a Seat Leon Cupra with uprated grooved discs, i find the lexus' brakes rather shocking! Therefore i'm looking for an upgrade

Name's George, and i picked up a 2000 W plate Lexus IS200 SE on thursday B)

Its blue, been lowered 40mm on progressive springs, and has a cat back exhaust

Looking to gain a bit of info about it before i do anything else, but i'm very happy with it so far
