  1. Hi Loc members!!! Sorry if I posted this in the wrong section My house recently got burgled and they stole my spare keys and my Lexus IS200 (I only had it barely for 2 months), and the car has been recovered and the police are currently doing forensics on the car. I have still got the master key. After I have inspected the car at the compound, I will decide if I want to keep it or not. Options 1. Get the master key reprogrammed and get a set of spares made. Since the criminal has still got the spare key, I believe they cannot, unlock the car, open the boot or even open the glove compartment, but if they can start the ignition the alarm will go off. 2. Claim it off the insurance and get the locks etc changed. I don't know what to do next. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks
  2. I recently purchased a USB/SD card interface adaptor for my IS200 on ebay for £79.98 inc p&p. The iPod adaptor is about £10 more I believe. I followed the guidelines on this forum and, it took me about 45-50 minutes to install it. The sound quality is fantastic. xcarlink usb/sd interface adaptor eBay link
  3. Hey guys I've just purchased a Lexus IS200 SE 2003, Silver, 42,000 mileage, 6 month road tax, Full service history, going to be serviced before I collect it tomorrow and 3 months warranty. The timing belt was changed at 40,000 in 2009. £4,200...not bad :) Going to collect it tomorrow afternoon I'm hoping this car won't give me any problems over the next few years.
  4. Hi guys I'm looking to buy a Lexus IS200. (Current Car Ford Fiesta) I've seen a 2004 Lexus IS200 SE 4DR Metallic Silver colour 36,000 Miles One Owner Full Lexus History They say it's a high spec model with park distance control The price is 6,250 From the pictures and the information seems really good but I have a a few questions. I was wondering since the car is over 6 years but with low milleage, should I be worried if the timing belt hasn't been changed? And finally is the price reasonable? Thanks :)
